The best mini espresso AND multi-pod machine ever
2026 update: It's been a year, and it's still going! No leaks if you use it correctly, and make sure the adapters are inserted fully. I now use ground coffee, Nespresso pods and ESE pods (90%). I get 100% completely consistent results using ESE pods (I use Lavazza single-serve wrapped ESE pods, available on Amazon) as they are cheaper than K-cups and Nespresso, and are imported from Italy!. I don't know how the ESE pods work, but they are magic. They have less ground coffee in them than if I do the grounds myself and they get good if not better results with this machine. The hardest part of this machine is figuring out how much coffee you will get with the cryptic lights. 2 lights = 3 oz for espresso, I have exact 3oz glass cups and it's all the way to the top. I have found that coffee gets cooler quickly, especially in winter because it's not in the machine for too long and find I can just microwave it for 10-15 seconds and it's incredibly hot. You have to be aware that there is **always** a small about of water that comes out the front AND the back during pre-heating. There's a little tube in the water tank for it to expel water from the tubes before heating and it just puts it back into the tank. The water that drips from the front just goes into the drip tray and is minimal. Just don't put your cup on the tray before pre-heating is done. Nespresso results are just as good as the original Nespresso Machine. For K-kups I just use my Keurig machine because it has a much larger water tank than this machine, but I knew that before purchasing. Otherwise, the K-cup coffee is just fine as well. During the year, I purchased a Lavazza adapter from Hibrew's international store and tried that with mixed/problematic results. The Lavazza branded pods just don't work well, sometimes I'd get half as much coffee as it should, I'd frequently get coffee grounds in the cup, water would erupt out, etc. I contacted Hibrew and they promptly sent me a replacement adapter which worked better - no eruptions, but grounds kept coming to the cup and sporadic coffee amounts, so I just stopped with the Lavazza (proprietary) pods. Not to be confused with Lavazza branded ESE pods. These are perfection. They are basically pre-portioned paper espresso discs that are 44mm in diameter. You can get them from numerous vendors as the ESE standard is a global standard made by various vendors. ######## Original review from Feb 2025: I was surprised to find this gem buried in the endless pages of search results when looking for "pod espresso".. and to find a review saying "best espresso ever" got me curious - could this possibly be the holy grail I've been looking for? For weeks I've been looking for something to handle Nespresso capsules AND "regular" espresso grinds. Nada. Then I found this. OMG. So good. I don't own a "Regular" espresso machine. I have a Nespresso Original Line and a Keurig. This machine is replacing the Nespresso entirely. It's not replacing my keurig (although it could) but the water tank is too small.. info: +It makes better nespresso-based drinks than the Delonghi nespresso machine I have). + The beverage from this machine is HOT. From my Delonghi - not so much. + I swear the micro-foam from the nespresso capsule is actually crema - from the regular nespresso machines you only get micro-foam really + 7 water level choices instead of the 2 in the Nespresso or the 5 in Keurig. (although my Keurig does 12oz) + Nespresso, Keurig, ESE, Dolce, AND ground coffee? (there's even Lavazza adapters available on their non-amazon store) + Quieter (not by much) than the Nespresso machine which is loud + The machine warms up fairly quickly, no complaints + Inclusion of a little syringe to pre-prime the water pipes? Brilliant. It worked well too! Not good - The instructions use tiny images and are a bit cryptic, I even realized there's a step missing from the ESE adapter - you need to remove the silver ground coffee cup from the carrier then you insert the ESE cup in its place (the instructions show putting the ESE cup into the ground cup - the lid won't close if you try) - Like my other Nespresso machine, this machine is nearly identical in size, but it also has a way-too-small water tank. It is roughly 25oz, enough for 2 mugs for me. - If you remove the drip tray to put a larger mug, the cup rattles ridiculously. - If they removed the plastic base under the drip tray, you could elevate this on a stand and use whatever size cup you want instead. - I'm seeing odd blinking lights under the light bars, near the brew button - something internally isn't behaving and I've contacted support. I shouldn't be having random anything the first week, especially something electrical - While technically possible to do just water, it's far easier in my Keurig - and I won't have to immediately refill the tank As it is completely absent from the instructions or any documentation, here are the measured-by-my-completely not scientific analysis of what the water levels are using my glass measuring cup: 7- 10oz (1 1/4 cup). 6- ~9oz 5- ~8oz (+- 1 cup) 4- 6oz (3/4 cup) I tried this for luongo espresso and it's a bit weak, although it worked well for the ESE pod (more grounds in it) 3- 5oz (2/3 cup) 2- 2oz (1/2 cup). the Hibrew website shows this as the setting for Espresso. It makes a nice espresso 1- 1oz (1/4 cup). I don't know who would use this, but it's here. I'm actually quite surprised by the results and how everything just tastes better. I am particularly impressed by the entire idea of ESE pods and how convenient they are. Pre-ground espresso in a paper pouch? Yes please. They are hard to find, but I found my Lavazza espresso on amazon - and it's cheaper than from Lavazza. However I did also try my first espresso using pre-ground coffee and it was easy enough with the included pounding thing. Cleaning a little awkward, but fine.

Great little machine does it all!
Love it.. tried many machines but this one allows me to use different types of pods and regular coffee, its fast, easy to use and coffee is hot and taste great! You don’t need the filter I use it because I don’t want to clean the metal. Noise level same as nespresso.

An Inconvenient Mess
PLEASE READ: I got this thinking it would be a cool coffee maker. I was excited for it to arrive and read a lot of the reviews prior to this decision. This is the loudest coffee maker I've had, compared to the keurig I replaced, it pretty much vibrates itself around the counter top heating up and dispensing the water. I tried it with an average 8 oz cup, one you can find literally anywhere, I had to finesse it under the water drip tip on the k-cup attachment. When it was complete, it snagged the attachment and spilled coffee. I tried it without the base and yeah, it works, but you need to hold the cup there while it makes it because the platform under the catcher is small and inconvenient. When you release the lever, water is released from the K-Cup attachment and spills everywhere, especially if you had to take the catcher off to make an 8oz cup of coffee. I know this seems cool, but its really not worth the money your spending on it if you enjoy effortless coffee.

Nice to be able to have pod options.
Seems to work well with K-Cups and ground coffee. One full tank of water fills about 2 coffee mugs. The one thing that would be better is if the water was a little bit hotter. I would also recommend cycling it through 3 or 4 tanks of water as there was initially a plastic taste for a short while.

This machine is every thing!
Love this machine it does everything I need it to do and more. It's way easier to clean than my last machine. I love that the water resivoir comes off to clean. It is small so it doesn't take up a lot of room which is a definite plus considering all that it can do.

Good espresso-Not great. Quick to brew.
It does not produce Crema like you would imagine. This is a good coffee maker, however, the k-Cup function is weak and the espresso function is ok. This machine is compact and works well in small spaces, but, do not be fooled, its 3star at best.

100% BETTER THAN ANY keurig
What a great product. Each attachment works great no issues. Using real bean grounds is GREAT as well & size is geat small. I happen to have a frother never used but now I do. Every impressive coffee proctuct. It is a bit noise but its not a big deal. I LOVE IT I would buy again.
