Stocking stuffers idea!
Cheap. Durable. Quality was good. Husband loved it.

Great for wall mounting and low level practicing. Nylon cord is annoying
Purchased this by mistake. I was looking at 2 separate axes and somehow bought a throwing axe. No biggie, I have a collection of throwing knifes so it wasn't a big deal to add a throwing axe to the collection. The weight is decently distributed, and the blade was plenty sharp out of the box. The nylon cord slides up and down the shaft of the axe. And the point on the back is about as sharp as a pen. Pressing your thumb against it won't cause any pain or break skin, but with enough force it can penetrate. After about 20-minutes of handling, I removed the nylon strong. It simply wouldn't stay in place and was more cumbersome than helpful. It would have been a far different story if the nylon went the entire length of the axe, but it doesn't. And seeing as the top portion of the shaft is thinner, the nylon naturally begins to spread itself out. In short, the blade itself is adequate to practice throwing, I can already tell that it won't hold its sharpness for too long. It also looks quite nice on my wall with my other throwing knives. One of the few good mistakes on my part. Though now I still need a single-hand axe or hatchet

Small axe with badly wrapped handle.
It is small like a throwing knife. The handle is ok if you choke up on it by the blade, but if you hold it further down the handle, then the bottom of the handle will bite into your hand. I haven’t thrown it yet but it looks ok. I do think the cord around the handle will come off after a few throws because it is not put on well. If you buy this axe, make sure to fix the cord before playing with it.

Good starting size
Nice and small to hide and go in small places

Small and useful
Simple for a quick camping trip. Not for log splitting but maybe a bit of defense.

Don’t buy
Might as well use a butter knife

Small sharp axe
So thin, not at all what I was expecting. First use my husband cut himself. Super sharp, use caution.

As stated before, very small.
Pretty small for an axe. Seems to be decent quality. Little difficult to throw accurately. Paracord on handle makes it even harder, I removed it. overall fun to play with though.
