This is the best composter we've ever used. It doesn't leave a unsavory odor and is super quiet so it stays in the house. It also looks great on its own. Other systems we've used were either obnoxiously loud, broke within months of fail use or smelled really bad. I also love that it's hands free.

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing the Reencle composter. Unlike some high heat processes that destroy helpful organisms but do break down food, Reencle works on biology. IF you follow instructions, most scraps will be completely gone in 24 hours, having been decomposed to useful compost in a natural manner. The unit arrives with very clear instructions, but unfortunately many people just don't read the instructions. To successfully use the Reencle, you MUST understand you are facilitating a biological process that does require attention to things such as the level of ingredients in the unit, keeping filters clear, and monitoring for moisture, either over or under. I have had wonderful results! No odor. No mess. Great results!

Odor free and exceptionally efficient if you follow the protocol. It sometimes makes a slight grinding noise when the paddle’s rotate.

After reading about a few different com posters, I decided on this one. It was a bit bigger than expected so it doesn't sit on the counter. It was very easy to setup, just pour in the packaged compost material and add water. Like previously mention it was a bit bigger than expected, so it took some time to fill the machine with leftovers/garbage. If you're bigger than 2/3 people this will be good for you. After a few months of usage, here are my takes. The noise level isn't bad you'll need to stand next to it to even notice it. No issue with odors coming out of the machine. when you do open it doesn't smell like garage. For me, it smells like bread that is rising. I've already started using the compost in my garden. Great way to reduce waste and give back.

I've had it for a month now. It works pretty well. A little annoyance is the lid opens when I walk by sometimes and closes when I am still putting scrapes in. I don't know where the max fill line is located. I did not see any reference to where it was in the literature. Smells are like rising bread. Pleasant so far. Happy to make compost from scraps.

If you are a gardener and find yourself buying compost every year, I would seriously consider this splurge. For the amount of food we were tossing in the garbage - it's now turned into free compost. Have had it for about 6 months now. Noise level is quiet - every no and then you hear it running, but we have it off to the side in the mud room. Size is great - nice and compact. The only complaint is we have the sensor for the lid off because I don't want the dog thinking there is a box with constant treats for him. However, it seems to "randomly" turn on - not sure why or how or maybe who - maybe the dog figured it out. :) In researching all the other types of composters out there, the others seem to dehydrate the food where as this gets the food to about 1/2 way to composting. Would highly recommend considering this.

Have had for several months. I love it. No more fruit flies with compost on the counter. It seldom smells and if it does, it smells like vinegar. I have composted for years. It was a splurge,but I am hooked.

Works well so far

I keep it in the kitchen, and it is slightly louder than my fridge, but not by much. The smell is mostly present when you open the lid, and will depend on how balanced your compost is. (took me few weeks to get rid of the yogurt smell after adding too much at once) after that I learned not to add too much stuff at once, but if i do it in smaller batches it handles all my organics no problem. So far I am very happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

These machines have to be seen to be believed. You tip all your food waste in there (hard, soft, wet, dry - it doesn’t matter) and in a few days you have soft, crumbly, odourless compost. It’s really amazing.

It’s seriously the best purchase I made this year. This little machine is like a robot pet lol. Whenever I’m cooking, I just “feed” it and I don’t have to stress about egg shells, veggie peels, bread crumbs—any of that mess! Now I want to cook more often!! Highly recommend it!

Two weeks in and enjoying the Reencles quiet efficiency; no noise no smell and better than using a food caddy or bin. We dump food waste in daily and so far it is a long way from filling. Looking forward to using the output in the garden.
