The band was extremely easy to use without assistance, and it fits fine under loose fitting blouses, keeps it comfortable and in place. For me, I forgot I was wearing it this sleeve, because it immediately started helping relieve pain from swelling. It is true to size. However, my only suggestion is to ensure you measure properly, and possibly go up one size to make sure it isn't too tight. I had one measurement that was outside of the sizing chart, and decided to go up one size to an XL. I would rather have light compression, than too tight in the area that is actually really swollen. Thickness is great, not so thin I'm afraid it will rip while putting on but not so thick that it's hot. The strap shown in the pic is a bit awkward but it's removable and there's a velcro flap that I use to attach right to my bra strap. Stays up really well! Best value I could find for a hand to armpit sleeve. Measured my arm accurately and the sleeve fits appropriate. Just a little bit long in length for me, but I’m not a big person. Works beautifully, the strap around the chest and back just a little uncomfortable but acceptable. A bit difficult to get on due to the style but was happy with the result.
