ACP-EP Memory 512MB PC133 168-PIN SDRAM DIMM (MAC and PC)

This memory is priced low and the quality is great. It was a little difficult to install. I had to put the PC on its side and then firmly push in the memory and then make sure the tabs on both sides clicked into place properly. It did seem a little shorter than the original memory, but the specs matched, and the chips looked identical to the original. After boot up the memory showed up and all has been well for months.My apps operate much better with the increased memory.

Most resources stated the iMac G3 500Mhz used PC100 ram. I figured PC133 would just train down to 100. Surprisingly MacOS 9.1 (and 10.0) show it running at 133 and it works great. No stability issues. just works. Nice upgrade from 64mb to 1gb.

I had originally ordered a 256 MB RAM stick from another vendor so I had a total of 512 MB of RAM to install a new OS, but it didn't work so I sent it back. I got this one and it worked perfectly. I was able to reinstall Windows XP Pro SP3 and install the drivers for my wifi PCI card and my 5 input 2.0 USB PCI card. Only issue now is to figure out why the original 256 MB RAM stick is not initialized. That old desktop computer only recognizes the new 512 card, but it is online and fully functional now. I may order another so I have 1 GB of RAM.

I was skeptical because they blank out the labels on the memory IC's, but it passed all tests so far.

I was helping a friend with their Gateway computer. I already had several of these memory PC-133 memory cards but they were not working in the Gateway computer. The Gateway support was worthless since the computer was 10 years old but when I inquired about the clocking specs on the device sold by this Amazon vendor and gave them my Gateway model number, they were able to match me up with the correct memory card. The price was very decent. The price on this new card was less than what I was seeing advertised for a used memory card on Craigslist.

Ok the product states that this memory is compatiable with mac, not! I tried to install on my G4 quicksilver and it simply did not work. I emailed the store and was accused of frying the memory. No way because the memory stick worked in my other pc. The store refused to take the memory back. In addition the memory was sent wrapped in my paper invoice. What's up with that. No static packaging. I will never buy for this store again.

The price was great, and I purchased a cheap emac that my local pawn shop had scoffed at and nearly begged me to take. With a maximum of two slots that hold 512k a piece, for a maximum of 1GB, my emac is a perfect little machine for writing my articles, balancing my budget, and installed Tiger 10.4.3 nicely. The product made the deal and the difference as it was a low-investment item that made the overall purchase and upgrade of the computer worth it.
