Works as advertised. I used this on a 3/4" water supply line to a livestock automatic watering trough. It was on during temperatures below zero for days and the line didn't freeze as they previously had. Good solution to my problem for not much money.

Came back to update original review where I gave them bad remarks because one of the 2 I bought did not work. I didn’t not realize the end of the cord is a thermostat that automatically turns this on and off. As soon as I pulled one out of the box, I went outside and plugged it in and it warmed up. The other sat in the house and got warm on its own, so when I was installing that, it didn’t work. I just tossed it in the freezer and plugged it in and works great. I’m super pleased with it

Works great…..now I have no worries about frozen pipes….plug it in and the thermostat sensor will keep it automatically from freezing! A great investment for peace of mind! You won’t regret it!
