I bought the s7 switch when on sale and was soo excited to receive and try it. The suction on the vacuum while on “max mode” is great! The rollers do get tangled on my hair, but it’s quite easy to take apart and clean after each use. I have a 1700sqft single story home and the battery lasts just enough to get a vacuum in. I have to put the battery back on the charger for hours in order to be able to use the vacuum/mop unit. The vacuum/mop unit maneuvers incredibly well, and sucks up even whatever hair and dust I missed while vacuuming. Although it has a self clean function, the roller does not fully dry, causing it to smell like dumpster juice. So one of the biggest, and probably most expensive, advertised feature of this unit isn’t executed well. I do take apart the unit and clean after each use/cleaning cycle is completed. I’ve only had this unit for a few months and the battery seems to be draining faster lately. When checking Amazon and Tinecos website, it appears they do not sell replacement batteries for this unit! Luckily I purchase the extended warranty, so hopefully Tineco is easy to work with, once I get to that point. It’s so satisfying to see how dirty the water is after each use, but it still does not replace a traditional mopping. This is more so an everyday maintenance mop than a deep cleaning type mop. Regardless, it still increased my quality in life by reducing the amount of times I have to mop to only once a week. Update: Changing my review from 3 to 4 stars because Tineco did reach out to me after I posted this view to confirm that they do not sell additional batteries. But, since it hadn’t even been 3 months since my purchase, and I purchased the warranty, they mailed me a replacement battery! In comparison to the original battery, it holds charge much better! Super satisfied with their customer service; just bummed they also confirmed the vacuum with the s7 Switch does not have replacement filters and rollers for sale thru Amazon nor their website directly. Because of this and the fact that I had to get a replacement battery after 2 months of use, I can’t say the product is 5 stars, especially with its price tag. But their customer service is definitely 5 stars!

Loving my new mop/vacuum! Very well packaged and assembly was quick and easy. Was able to try it out and loved that it could vacuum up crumbs and fur and mop my floor all at the same time AND IT SELF CLEANS!! Machine is cordless, has a female voice with volume control, and she tells you what you need to do (charge, empty dirty water, self clean, etc.) You do have to empty the dirty water after using or it will start to smell. Has its own docking/charging device, so it is easily stored. Display is nice and bright so you know how much the machine energy has left. I purchased this when it was on sale, but it is worth the full price. Machine can be a bit heavy when full of water. My days of back breaking work with a bucket and mop are gone!

Do not buy this. Horrible cleaning ability, leaves streaks, vacuum stick has weak suction. For the price, I am extremely disappointed. I replaced my 10 year old Dyson stick vacuum with this one, (which still works), but I wanted a floor washer so I purchased this Tineco to wash and vacuum with, and one year later, it is dead, it will not charge. Do NOT BUY THIS!

Edit: Tineco was very helpful and replaced my vacuum with a new one. Everything works well with my new Tineco. 4/5 stars though for the hassle. Hope this one lasts a long time!! I bought the S7 Tineco in July and by December the vacuum is not working. It seems to be the battery that doesn’t work. Very frustrating after spending so much money on a vacuum and it didn’t even last a year. I’m hoping to be able to get a new vacuum through customer service. The return window also closes after 1 month of purchase which is ridiculous! I’m very upset.

This system is very nice and cleans well. The vac-mop cleans up most dirt, although stickier dried-on stuff will need manual scraping or scrubbing. But, for what I'd expect a soft mop roller to pick up, it's pretty good. Sometimes just lingering over a spot will get it, sometimes not so much. I can get around 1500 sq ft done on a charge. My home is bigger, so I will do kitchen, dining, hall and 3 bathrooms or living room and bedrooms. The unit charges quickly, so in a few hours it's ready to go again. The base charger is very convenient, just set the vac-mop on the base, and press the clean button. It will clean and dry the mop roller. Every time I use it, I'm slightly "shocked" at how much dirt it picked up off my "clean" floor. Cleaning and refilling is easy. I love having the separate vacuum unit that works with the interchangeable motor/battery. Simply pull the motor from the mop and snap it into the vac. It works very well and comes with two attachments - brush/crevasse nozzle, and a pet hair (roller) head - for compact use, plus the floor-vac attachment for sweeping. A surprisingly enjoyable feature is the self-drive wheels on the mop, to assist in pushing. It detects forward/backward motion and applies power accordingly. Everything about this system seems well made and of quality construction. The talking prompts it makes are kind of cheesy, but that's just me. Maybe other people like that. I would recommend this system, especially if you can find it on sale like I did.

While it is easy to wet vacuum the floor there are some disadvantages: 1. Sometimes water leaks when we leave the vacuum in parked/standing position after mopping. Don't why it happens. I had to take out every part and clean immediately after mopping to avoid this! 2. Battery runs out fast. 3. With this we got 2 vacuum cleaners (wet and dry )but only one battery. 4. Dry vacuum cleaner stand is weak and has to leaned against wall for not to fall off! Advantages: 1. Easy detection of mop direction and motion adjusts quickly accordingly. 2. Mops well. 3. Self cleaning

Me duro 6 meses (usandola 3 a 4 veces por semana) la base esta mal diseñada!!!. En uso diario el peso le gana y se va rompiendo de la parte media a la parte donde esta el rodillo. El día de hoy esta inservible, literal solo la detiene un cable del rodillo, no la he tirado por que si no no hay forma de cargar para la parte de la aspiradora. Comprala si la vas a usar poco, por que la verdad limpia muy bien, pero si esta mal diseñada, estan mejores las de menor rango de esta marca, tengo una de hace 2 años de las básicas que funciona bastante bien.... De la parte de la aspiradora, esta bien, no es una maravilla pero funciona. Pero para nada vale el precio 😭

Not a great nor a bad product. This has a serious lag where under furniture access is less. Tineco has those models but have not introduced in India. Why not introduce those models when many customers woud'nt want such restricted access product. Price wise this not not cheap, a very highly costed product. Battery life is no where in comparison to what Dyson or Ecovac offers. They should improve in battery quality. This is good for large room , but where manoeuvrability is required this is not that flexible. Body gets scratched or dented easily when it gets impacted on the side while using. There are places where the cleaner can touch while cleaning , but those spots are not protected well which could have been implemented with some protection. Waste water tank securing arrangement is weak which sometimes does not snatch on on single press and falls over. Service support team is very interactive. Cleaning solution and spares are costly .Sad to know higher models are not being introduced in India. Cleaning is efficient. battery capacity could have been improved. When self cleaning mode is activated the power is drawn from the battery and not from the direct power supply when the unit is docked in its dock connected to power supply. This is a design failure because if the battery is low the cleaning function wont start and waits for the battery to recharge and starts suddenly after sometime , this is a disappointment. Not a great product , but options are less which may improve over time with other players entering. Cost wise this is very expensive and not value for money. Cleaning is does it well.

Unfortunately, I am updating my review. If I could return this, I would. I stand by that it makes cleaning way quicker, but it’s so tedious to use. I started feeling like it wasn’t really doing a good job so now I have to take extra time cleaning the actual machine so often. I got some new rugs in my house and the vacuum won’t work on them at all, it just turns off from getting stuck or the head of the vacuum is so light that ur just flips up. The mop vac has exploded TWICE now while on the self cleaning cycle. Dirty gross water got all over the place and literally spewed out. If you try to lean it too much while cleaning I have also now found that it will turn off. The self cleaning isn’t strong enough if you have pets. It develops really musty dog smell still and every time you turn it on you’ll smell dog dander. You end up needing to replace the filter monthly which is costly. And then hand washing the roller. My last complaint - I don’t know if I’m just crazy or if there is another way to do it, but emptying the lint trap for the vacuum is IMPOSSIBLE. Nothing falls out and I have to dig into all the dirt and dust and hair with my HANDS to physically scoop it out. Doesn’t matter if you bang it against the side of the garbage. If you have dog hair in it, it’s not gonna budge. And the trap isn’t a small removable compartment, you actually have to carry the entire top part of the vacuum, it’s ridiculous. If I could go back and not purchase this I would. I can’t return it but I’m going to list it for sale. PREVIOUS: As somebody who has three dogs and a large living space, I definitely needed something to make cleaning easier. I have a senior husky who sheds all over the house and is often getting sick. And I have two French bulldogs who get their tiny little hairs caught in things, I don’t have grass so their muddy paws cause mayhem. I have been using the S7 switch combo for a week now and it has been very simple to use. I knew about needing to switch the motor back-and-forth between the mop and the vacuum prior to purchasing, but it seems like a lot of people might not realize that this set only comes with one motor and you cannot purchase a second motor. You do need to leave the motor in the mop vacuum in order for it to charge but switching it takes less than a second so that doesn’t bother me. I use the regular vacuum every single day for laminate and tile flooring and I also use it for my very large couch and all of the stairs throughout the home. I will say the head of the vacuum is extremely light! When I’m vacuuming the couch, the head will come with the couch and kind of flip upwards, which can be a little bit annoying so if you are not on a completely flat surface, keep that in mind. Maybe just use the smaller head it comes with and do it by hand. However, I have seen reviews saying the suction power was not good and I completely disagree! The suction power beats my Bissell by far. It’s probably the lightest vacuum I’ve ever used as well. And it’s not too loud. I don’t use my items roughly, and I go under my couch and tables lightly and already the long stem of the vacuum has scuffs all over it. But I’ve never had a vacuum that didn’t scuff in the same areas. The mop vacuum is picking up all of the dirt and dog hair as needed, and I have had no issues with clogging or anything else. The five minute self clean is quick and not as loud as a lot of the other ones. The robot when it’s speaking to you is actually quite loud so I find that a little bit annoying, but it doesn’t affect me enough to not like the vacuum. All in all, I got it on sale so I think it was very good value and I researched a lot of different brands for over a month before making the plunge.

***Update** I was in contact with Tineco about my issue and after some verification steps and trying some troubleshooting, Tineco replaced my defective unit and solved my issue. I am happy with the resolution and the new unit works great, I'm very impressed. *Original review* I followed all instructions and filled with clean water and pressed the button to begin using for the first time. No water was coming out and after a few seconds I heard a verbal error saying "insufficient water in the water reservoir, powering off now" then it shut off. No matter how many times I tried, or checked the water level was at the correct line, the same error happened and i am unable to use the floor cleaner. I will contact the company and hope they can replace the device. I read online there have been some complaints about faulty sensors, I assume this may be the cause. I will update this review after I contact the company for help tomorrow and going forward.

Works good but I wish there was another battery.
