We had an issue with a leak in the dishwasher in our last apartment that we used to rent. However, because the leak wasn't significant and due to its location, we didn't notice it until there was an electrical issue with the dishwasher and we had to move it. Therefore, when I came across this set of this 2 water detectors, I decided I must have them.Setup is very easy - all you have to do is to remove the battery insulator before placing the device in the area you want to test. The device has 4 bottom water detectors and additionally, a leak detector on the top of the device as well. This means that the device will not only alert you about water spillage on the floor, but also if there is a direct leak on the top of the device. Once the leak is detected, the device will sound the alarm to notify about the water presence. I would really appreciate the ability for the device to connect to an application which will notify me on my phone about the leak, and luckily the seller has this type of device available for sale as well.I highly recommend placing one of these detectors behind the dishwasher and washing machine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They work and they are LOUD! *by P***N on 24 March 2024* The media could not be loaded. Package arrived containing 2 white detectors, each measuring 72 mm in diameter and 27 mm high. They also come with 2 blue triangular prying tools to allow access to the battery compartments. Two AAA batteries are supplied for each detector. There are 4 metal pins on the base, used to detect the water and there is also a test button on the top.It's just a case of strategically placing the detectors in suitable locations i.e., next to washing machines, under the bath etc..They work, any if you have a leak, you will soon know about it.
