Easy DIY project
Works well, and is much quieter than a cheaper one I bought. Has a temperature sensor and can be put on a timer. The hardest part is cutting a square into a wall. However, it does fit in between two wall studs. I mounted mine on the outside siding by using an oscillating tool to cut the wall out with.

A little noisy, but does move a lot of air. Low current of 0.65 A is easy to configure wiring.
I really didn't have any issues during the install process. Once you have your hole cut to the correct size, the rest is just electrical. Then just plug it in and go. The thermostat controller works well and is easy to configure. The thermostat does blank after few seconds, but pressing any button brings it back. I guess it is for saving power, but not sure that is necessary since the fan unit uses 110 VAC. I am probably going to buy the larger unit for another building I have. One minor complaint is that the max. temperature setting is 99 degrees F. This should be fine for most applications, but worth noting. One surprising thing was the lack of including 8 mounting screws. I guess they were assuming that mounting the fan is unique for each user. Not an issue really, but you will need these screws to complete installation.

Worth the investment
This fan is changing the game. It's quiet, well assembled and so long as you read the instructions, do not run the fan without the controller I assume you'll see no issues. My passive attic vent wasn't making things happen. This has kept my house 7-10 degrees cooler. My ac turned off during a 87 degree day. It's worth the money.

Pretty good unit, but must reset temp every time power goes off or if unplugged
Works as expected, beware some very sharp edges while you are installing this. Moves a lot of air, and is effectively ventilating a 20×25 tunnel. Is not too loud but would not call this a quiet unit. You need to reset the temperature every time the power is off, having a battery in the unit that saves the settings would be nice.

Great Automatic vent fan
Installed in a 10x10 lean to shed...easy installation and Interface. Has worked through 2 weeks of hot weather. I have it set to come on at 82 degrees. It moves a good amount of air so much so I had to put a second 12x12 vent in the other side of the shed. Because the air flow was still restricted. Hopefully this will last a few seasons in Seattle.

Highly recommend
Excellent! All one piece. Installation instructions are easy & helpful. Installation required cutting the suggested wall opening, framing to mount fan (screws not included) and a 120v outlet to plug 6’ cord into. It also requires caulk to fill in and possibly touch paint for the outside of your house depending upon how well you cut & caulk. The thermostat has an 8’ USB cord. The thermostat does not retain settings in power outage and must be reset. The fan does not have a bug screen in front of it but the louvers close nicely and it does have a safety cage behind it. The finish seems quality & attractive. I set my thermostat at 85° F and I believe my AC is working less! Difficult to choose with so many options! I knew the size and color I wanted and often go with “overall choice”.
