Plain colored address book - plenty of space on pages and enough pages per letter. Only complaint is that , in fact as others stated there was a smell to it when it arrived and did have smudges on it that looked like dirt . Think probably oil in product- Have let the product sit out before putting it in any drawer or closed space, etc. Added to my paranoia lately of products made in China what with using formaldehyde in everything including baby formula and toothpaste! Since not using it for anything internal and having left it out in open for over a month and now the smell is basically gone -I don't feel as if there is any health concern with the product.

Buy THIS, not an overpriced address book from an office supply store.
When my old, old, old address book was finally falling apart, and had like 50 old addresses in it that I'd crossed out because they were out of date, I went looking for a replacement address book and for some reason, office supply stores seem to think that an equivalent address book is somehow worth the price of one made from Cordovan leather and Egyptian vellum with cloth-of-gold liners and silk stitching borrowed from King Tut's shroud or some such. (Yeah I just pulled all that cynical doggerel out of my butt. Just humor me.) What I mean is, office supply stores were wildly overpriced for a simple address book so I gave up on "instant gratification" and turned to Amazon instead. To my surprise this was a Peter Pauper product identical in size, shape and cover material to the "internet password book" I already had which you can find at Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million retail stores, so they compliment one another nicely. The elastic band to keep it closed, much like most modern day journal books, was a nice touch. For less than ten bucks you get a perfectly adequate address book (entries include space for each contact's email, cell ph#, fax#, etc. as well) that will fit nicely in a briefcase or what have you. And you won't be contributing to the apparently excessive ego of the average office supply store.

I don't have to charge it.
I've been using a Palm Pilot the past several years to keep my addresses and other information handy. Recently, my charger has disappeared and I have been unable to locate another. I've decided the old paper and pencil method might not be such a bad idea. The first one I bought was way too big. I want one small enough to keep in my bag and big enough to keep track of more than just the name, address and phone number. This is actually a little bigger than my palm, but it is thinner. There is room for name, address, 4 phone numbers, e-mail address, birthday, and about 2 1/2 lines for notes. It might be a little tight for adding directions to their house, like I have in my palm, but I guess I can take up another slot for that. It is spiral bound, so it will lie flat when open and it had an elastic strap to keep it closed. It may be low tech, but at least I don't have to recharge it.

Handy Address Book
This address book is everything it states in the preview. It it a mid-sized, sturdy, book in which you to keep your addresses.I especially like the decoration inside the front and back covers which are multi- colored thin and thick stripes in brown and gold hues. The book also has a black elastic strap attached to the back that you can stretch around the book for closure. This book is a joy for me. It has a very classy and elegant look. On the inside you have tabs lettering " A thru Z ". Each lettered tab has 14 pages, so you have plenty of room for your addresses.I, personally, bought this book for my passwords and websites. It fits easily in my purse.I love, love, love everything about this book. You will too!The pages contain space for - Name, Address, Home phone number, Mobile number, Work/fax, and E-mail.I' m so glad to have this book. I love it!
