Men’s Speedcross Peak Trail Running Shoes

I’ve worn Salomon shoes for years, and the Men’s Speedcross Peak Trail Running Shoes continue exactly why I keep coming back. Right out of the box, these fit perfectly. There was absolutely no break-in period—they were comfortable from the very first run, which is something I’ve consistently experienced with Salomon and rarely with other brands. The grip is outstanding. Whether I’m on dirt trails, wet terrain, or uneven ground, these shoes feel incredibly stable and confidence-inspiring. The traction is aggressive without feeling clunky, and the shoe feels secure and responsive without being overly stiff. Comfort is where these really shine. The cushioning is supportive but not mushy, the fit is snug in all the right places, and they hold my foot securely without pressure points or hot spots. Long runs feel just as good as short ones. Very comfortable. I use them for golf. I always walk and "normal" golf shoes wear out quickly. These are sturdy and I like the pull string style of closure.

I needed a trail type shoe that I could also wear on pavement as well as dirt/grass. I have a pair of Speedcross 5 Trail Running shoes from Salomon and while great, they look like cleats and I can't wear them on anything other than dirt trails or grass type terrain because the tread is very big/bulky and it just looks funny to be strolling around in something that looks more at home on a football field. These shoes are good, however there are some things to keep in mind that I wish I would have known before purchasing. Size: -These are long and narrow. -I wear an 11.5 with most mainstream brand footwear. -I expected these to be the same, especially since I have a pair of Salomon Speedcross 5 Trail Running shoes and like usual, an 11.5 fits me perfectly. This is not the case with the Speedcross Peak Trail Running shoes. I initially ordered an 11.5, but they were much too big. Check the image I uploaded for to get an idea of how big these are compared to a "normal" size. I reordered a half size smaller (11) and they fit, but they are very narrow in the toe area and the lacing seems to be much shorter, which, with these types of laces, you can't untie them. I hope I don't end up breaking the lacing by squeezing my foot through the smaller opening that the laces allow. I'm hoping the shoes themselves break in and loosen a bit in the toe area. I uploaded an image of another pair of 11.5 shoes (different brand) compared to the 11.5 Salomon and you can see the difference is pretty big for both being 11.5's.

These are great! Fit well and true to size, arches are really high but not uncomfortable, and they perform well on trails where footing may be less than stable.

Wouldn't fit. I have three pairs of these shoes, all the same size, and all fit fine, except for this latest pair I just purchased. The problem: the shoe laces are too short and I cannot open the shoes wide enough to insert my foot. The design of the shoe is such that you cannot simply change laces. I will return this pair and re-order...maybe one size larger? ... So, update. Sent back the last pair and bought a larger size. Same problem; the laces are too short and I can barely get my foot in. Once the shoes are on, I have no extra lace left to tighten them up; they are already tight. Guess I'm gonna have to change to another brand.

Top quality trail shoe. comfortable yet sturdy. allows air flow so never hot.

Very good quality and price. Only thing i noticed is that chart doesnt match. I wear fine shoes size 42 eu, nike sports shoes are 44 always. I ordered 44 size even though based on chart i should have used 41.5 size and 44 size match. So if you are unsure you can check nike size and order based on this. Shoes fit perfectly. 10/10

J’ai commandé cette paire de chaussures pour mon travail, je suis amené à intervenir sur tout type de terrain, de jour comme de nuit, par beau temps comme sous la pluie. Ces speedcross sont vraiment très confortables, les matériaux sont durables et de bonne facture. Le laçage rapide permet de les enfiler rapidement, la semelle antidérapante permet d’accéder a tout type de terrain. Le look permet de les porter au quotidien, elles sont d’ailleurs tres jolie. Pour ce qui est de la taille, penser a prendre une demie pointure supérieure pour etre a l’aise. Je suis extrêmement satisfait
