I’ve been on the hunt for a decent cream of rice for years. All the bodybuilding or fitness related ones are so so sweet. This one is the perfect level of sweet while still having flavour. It’s easy to mix and creates a nice smooth porridge. It easily digestible and keeps me sustained through the morning if I combine it with some fats (it is simple carbs at the end of the day). I’ve even recommended to my brother because he needs an easy and effective source of carbs in the morning and this does the trick! Very good value for money too.

Good value for money and good flavour. Cream of rice is not for everyone, but as someone who likes it, I enjoy this as a snack or meal. It digests well and mixes well compared to other brands I've tried.

Horrendously sweet, literally had one mouthful and binned the rest.

I struggled to make this just right at first, the key is 3.4 times more col water to rice and microwave for 2 mins stirring after 1 min and then after 1min 30 comes out perfect consistency and no more clumping. Tastes lovely with a banana and little bit of almond butter

Such a nice way to start my day. It’s really tasty which I didn’t expect. I mix mine with hot water and it’s perfect. Can’t wait to try the other flavours too now

So I’ve jumped back on cream of rice and got AN brand and the flavour is just amazing!! Honestly cannot stop eating this everyday even on my rest days because it’s just so good!

It’s… fine. Like the beige wallpaper of breakfast. Does the job, fills you up, but absolutely zero excitement involved. I bought this thinking I’d turn into a gym-fuelled superhero, but mostly I just stare at my bowl wondering if I’m eating baby food or preparing for a bodybuilding competition. Texture-wise, it’s smoother than I expected (credit where it’s due), but you have to add flavour — otherwise it tastes like warm, gym-approved sadness. Once I mixed in some protein powder and a bit of peanut butter, it actually slapped. Without it? Not so much. So yeah, three stars because it works, but I can’t pretend it’s delicious. A solid choice if you love macros more than taste buds.
