what is the difference between the normal and the deluxe?

as it happens we bought both sizes of this leather apron - on viewing both they were both of excellent quality and the only difference was the length of the apron - as I am 6'2" we decided on the longer item and gifted the shorter one to a family member also involved in DIY ... I would have been pleased to own either garment and would recommend both for their quality and durability.

Would this apron be puncture resistant? I am working on a wood lathe.

I have a waistline of 38 inches. However my belly is a bit bigger. Will this fit a middle aged pot belly man??? I am 6'4

I'm 5'9 with a 34" waist so I guess more of your knees will show and less of your waistline will be protected but their advert says M to XXL. It's a good quality piece of protection. You may have to play with the straps a bit but you should be fine.

: Can I use for blacksmith?

I readily acknowledge the quality of the apron I purchased BUT it is not as thick as some blacksmiths aprons I have seen in the past. I imagine that hot metal shards for a Smithy are a day to day expectation and could be problematic for this actual garment over time. I have had mine for nearly 12 months and is doing what I expected from the purchase without any issues BUT I partake in diy rather than professional trades.
