Grest classic movie.

This with along with part one D'Artagnian is a great watch. A good darker interpretation the superb ensemble cast, script and direction breathe new life into this much filmed story. Most people will compare these with the 1970s film series. Although only meant as a 2 film arc the films makers have left the door open for a third film which will hopefully happen.

A New Direction, Part Two
In addition to the points I made for "The Three Musketeers, D'Artagnon" there are only a couple more I would add to this, the second film, of which I assume we can expect to see a third in the future. Here, we discover the ongoing love that exists between Athos and Milady de Winter. She is also concerned about her son and pleads with Athos to be permitted to see him. The conflict between her and Constance has also been updated and, for me, improved. In contrast to earlier versions of the story, including the novel, she is a much more sympathetic character. There is a lot to like about this film and I am looking forward to the third installment.

Too much
Bombast and twists that do not work. Two problems, did they either utilise the BBC Three Musketeers or make it the Eva Green show.

Great film
French dialogue, English subtitles. Excellent version of the Three Musketeers. Eva Green is excellent as Milady.

Beautiful and quite faithful adaption
This is a beautifully shot film, authentic scenery, very lovely costumes with some tremendously skillful sword fights, which are so dynamically captured. Staying very close to the book it is the definitive adaptation I have seen, ofcourse this time made by french film makers, as should be. Bravo.

real good
french language but its light french so you can, with basic knowledge, follow it nicely if youd like to do it without subtitles. Eva, as always, is superb. Now the wait for netflix to release the third and final one. Definitely a good one, definitely recommended.
