Although the bottle might be small you don’t need a lot to cover the delicate skin around your eyes and the eye cream does feel both lightweight and refreshing.The formula continues caffeine which is rich in antioxidants, increase micro circulation and reduces dark circles and puffiness, lingonberry stem cells which are again antioxidant rich and are naturally reparative, biometric peptide to fight the signs of aging for healthy looking skin and pentavitin which provides hydration and strengthens the skin barrier. It also contains a lot of botanicals including white flower extracts which promote blood circulation, boost collagen synthesis and lighten skin.The eye cream is ideal for everyday use and effectively hydrates the thin and sensitive skin underneath your eyes. I have been using the eye cream for several weeks and I do believe that I have seen a noticeable difference in term of lightening the dark circles underneath eyes as well as effectively depuffing my eyes when I’ve slept badly. The eye cream applies and absorbs easily and also helps counteract sun damage and defend against the effects of pollution. However, at the moment I’ve not particularly noticed any substantial reduction of fine lines.The formula is paraben, silicone and sulphate free and is also vegan and cruelty free (PETA approved). They're usually high-quality, have thought-through ingredients, and smell glorious. Also, they're vegan and cruelty-free which is excellent.The science behind it I'm not very clued up on. I've read the information and it sounds convincing, and the ingredients include a good range of natural substances too, rich in antioxidants.The fact it has caffeine in drew me to it as well, as I've wanted an eye cream with caffeine in for a while to help with puffiness and dark circles.Using the product===========So the bottle has that traditional pink look, and has a really convenient pump, which is great and makes it far easier to apply.I use the eye cream once a day and apply it in dabs along my contour areas and up to my brow bone (I always need to refamiliarize myself with the best way of applying it with videos!).You don't need to use much at all, and it's a good, creamy thick texture so super easy to distribute bits of and then massage in.It has a lovely cooling effect as soon as you apply the cream, which I love, so immediately I get a bit of relief. It is also a good base for makeup if you use it in the morning.Effectiveness===========I'm not sure I noticed anything in the first week of using this daily. I had no bad effects though! But after a couple of weeks, I definitely feel like I might have a slight lift and my eyes looked a bit less puffy/tired.I definitely think it has helped with my dark circles considerably. But the wrinkles are stubborn - so I've yet to see any obvious improvements but I have high hopes!Verdict===========All in all, I'm super happy with this. I knew I could trust the brand, but have never used an eye cream from them before. The bottle is made from glass and the lid is a matte plastic. There is an instruction leaflet in the box but it just gives the same information as is printed on the box and the bottle also has the instructions on it so the leaflet seems unnecessary and a waste of resources.The cream is dispensed using a pump dispenser. It has a light silky texture which looks and feels like a light creamy serum. It can be applied in the morning and evening and just a tiny amount is needed.
