Containers fall over in water as soon as they are put in. Water goes into container and ruins eggs. Now they are poached eggs. What a complete waste of money. Review: easy to use. Everything you need to forget peeling eggs =) - The product is wonderful. finally a way not to peel the eggs. The best and main trick is that you need to put some oil inside the silicone mold. that is the main key to peel the eggs very easy and in a smooth way. In the video i forget to pre put the red ring before filling with the eggs. first take the mold put the red ring, then pour the eggs and finally close with the red lid.

I was wrong
The first time I tried the egg cookers I used a little bit of olive oil on the inside and rubbed it around. I boiled the eggs using the egg timer. When it was time to take the eggs out, they stuck to the sides. I boiled the eggs until the egg timer showed "ripe" or well done, but the eggs came out "medium well" per say. When it came time to clean the egg cookers, it was hard to clean them since they stuck to the sides. I was going to give up on them, but I decided to give them another try. This time I used cooking spray a little liberally and spread it around inside the egg cookers. I boiled the eggs (not using their egg timer) and the eggs came out very easily this time. The plastic is thicker than egg shells so it takes longer to reach the desired doneness. The reason why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because I personally would rather peel shells and deal with the occasional ones that don't turn out. To say a 5 means to me that I love them. Someone else might prefer the egg cooker way. The point is, they do work with enough oil.

Meh
These were fun to try, but we haven't used them since the initial test run. The eggs stick to the inside of the container. Spraying the inside might help, but we haven't been motivated to try.

Useful, but not a killer product.
I loved the concept, the results, not so much. However, they are useful.

Not worth the money
I wanted to like these because I boil eggs all the time and peeling them doesn't always work out. These were a nightmare! The cups are rubber and the lids are plastic so it takes some doing to get the lids screwed on straight - especially with a raw egg inside. Boiling them was easy once they were put together. The eggs DO NOT slide out all perfect like the pictures. They are weird shaped (the cups tip and float while cooking) and needed help removing them from the cups. The residue left inside the cups was the deal breaker for me. The eggs stick to the rubber and the cups are VERY difficult to clean. I scraped them out by hand and then put them in the dishwasher - not clean. I ran them through the cycle two more times and still not clean. I scrubbed them out with a sponge by hand and they still had residue in them. Gross! Not sure why the egg refused to clean off the cups but all of them ended up in the trash after that. I'd much rather peel eggs!

Love both of these items!!!
Love the Egglettes, the timer, and the seller's follow-up just to make sure I was satisfied with my order! The order arrived on the day promised. We have since gorged ourselves with soft and hard boiled eggs, eggs with sausage and cheese mixed in them, and so many more variations. I put them in the dishwasher on a peg, and let the dishwasher have the first go at them. Due to their shape, the water doesn't always get into the bottom part, and thus some easy-to-remove residue is left. I just use a wet paper towel to get that out as I am unloading. This "issue" is well known to happen, and the seller even sent me info about it. It is so minor! Never having to peel a shell from a boiled egg that doesn't want to let go, is certainly worth a 3-secong swipe with a damp paper towel!

This product is a rip off. The lids on 3 of the 6 would not stay on, just kept spinning and when fell over in the boiling water
Here is an update as of May 3, 2018 The seller should not be selling this product. Does not work, defective!! This product is a rip off. The lids on 3 of the 6 would not stay on, just kept spinning and when fell over in the boiling water opened and the egg came out. DO NOT waste your money, garbage!!! Well, it seems to work as stated, but very disappointed because it Did Not come with any instruction. When I went on Youtube there were videos that explained cooking times if you used a covered pot or uncovered etc. Nothing in the box except the Egglettes and an Eggy timer that I had to go online to learn how to use it.. A little disappointed there were no instructional paperwork. Buy it from the original website. It includes everything!
