This light sensor worked well for a while. I had a front porch built with 2 recessed ceiling LED dimmable lights. I also swapped out my inside light switch for a dimmer switch. I had read from others that some combinations of dimmer switch with LED lights and a light sensors may not work. This sensor worked flawlessly with the dimmer at any setting, on at sunset, off at sunrise, until it broke last week which was 15 months after installation and then stayed off. During troubleshooting, the dimmer made a very faint constant buzzing sound but didn't turn the lights on. Good thing this was a 2-pack and that I had the 2nd one around. Everything tests out fine again. We'll see how long it lasts. (The black circle base with the silver screw shown in the picture is a ceiling fixture to conduit-type screw in adapter and is NOT included)

I read a lot of reviews where people bought dust to dawn lights for their flags. In most cases, they were having trouble with either the dust of no sensor leaking, or the light leaking. I realized that since I was going to be running a circuit out to my flag anyway, why not go ahead and get a separate sensor, but if I did that to get a very good one. This one fits the bill very nicely. I mounted it on the side of the box, and it makes a very nice waterproof seal. I actually turn it down just a little bit to allow the water to drip off of it as well as to reduce the sensitivity. It works perfectly well.
