Do the pens use real feathers? Does collecting feathers cause injury or death to birds?

The feathers used in each of our feather pens are sourced from real, naturally shed bird feathers. We select feathers that have naturally fallen off during the molting process, so it does not cause harm or death to birds.

It's my first time to try using a dip pen, how should I use it?

Dip pens are the most classic way of writing, and they are very easy to use. Simply dip the entire nib section into ink for about 1s to load the ink, and you can start writing. When the ink runs out, simply dip it again and continue writing.

The set includes replacement nibs, how do I change the nib?

Hold the nib that is already installed in the pen body and gently pull it out, then insert the new nib into the same position. Please note that frequent nib replacements may loosen the pen slot, so it is not recommended to replace it too often.
