This laptop is very light weight and is fast. I bought this for my son and he is really happy with it. I did buy HP three year warranty as well. I was told if I didn’t file a claim with them at the end of the three years I would get my money back. The three year warranty included three years of tech support as well. The extended warranty cost was $75.00. The computer only had a three month warranty.

Great, and fast, was able to get set up fairly quickly. So far so good, very lightweight and fast, it is 4 core and shows 1ghz clock speed, but has been very fast so far. Charged in about an hour. No problems so far. Also came with a years subscription to Microsoft!

Couldn't be more pleased. It looks and operates as if brand new.

Don't expect much help from HP once this machine starts going bad, which it did for me only 3 months after I bought it (right after the Amazon warranty ran out). Scrolling on all the pages I would have open would freeze up, making me have to close down the pgs. and reopen them. Then my cursor would freeze up causing me to power down the machine and restart it. Next it got slower and slower to start up with pages not loading completely. I would have to restart 3 to 5 times to get pages to load completely. HP gave me the run around for 3 months telling me to try several different "fixes" that didn't work and then a complete restore which fixed things for about a week but now the scroll freezing is back. They want me to sent it in to them for repairs without giving me a loaner or replacement and say it could take a month to fix. Be forewarned before buying an HP product.

I’ve been using this laptop daily for about a year now—work stuff, personal stuff, and a little bit of aimless Googling at 2 a.m. It’s super lightweight (great for hauling between home and work), has solid battery life, and runs smooth even when I’ve got 47 tabs open and forgot to close Spotify. The memory’s decent, but since I collect files like a digital squirrel prepping for winter, I added an extra SSD—problem solved. The only reason it didn’t get five stars? The screen. I’m not dramatic, but the colors are kinda tragic. I ended up getting a second monitor because my eyes were like, 'please.' Still, this laptop totally pulls its weight and then some. I'd recommend it—just maybe pair it with a screen that doesn't make you question your taste in wallpapers.

I absolutely love this HP computer. I even love the red color. I have always bought HP. I was leary of the reconditioned product but for the low cost & the fact I don't use a home computer that often so I gave it a try. It has far exceeded what I had hoped for. Warranty is up so I hope it continues working as it should. Definitely worth the purchase. If you're in doubt, don't be. It looked brand new when it arrived without any flaws.
