Do you have to have a rhino rack for installation? I have a Kongo Cage.

Will the back section be high enough to clear a galley kitchen door on a high altitude trailer?

The height is at high as you mount it. The legs will extent to I think 8', so it should clear as long as it's lower than that. I have mine mounted at 6'6" so that's how tall it is. The only issue I have is if there is a steep slope near enough that the legs won't extend far enough, but that's rare. Hope this helps!
