The item came in a fair amount of time; was running late, but then arrived 4 days before its projected new arrival date. The package and food were in good shape, and I especially liked that it came in five separate 5lb bags, vs one 25lb bag. It is easier to deal with that way, and I feel that the food stays fresh for a longer period of time. As always, Harrison’s Bird Pellets have long been considered the best nutrition by avian vets, and as an avian veterinary assistant and bird caretaker of 28 years, I stand by that claim.

Our parrots, a cockatoo and a Scarlet Macaw both love Harrisons. Been on it forever. Such a good find to get the 25 lb. Bag at a great price. Would definitely urge anyone with parrots to feed Harrisons.

I hate paying as much as I have to for this stuff, but I am convinced it is the best thing for my best buddy Chico (20 year old Blue & Gold Macaw). When he's eating Harrison's HP Coarse, (which he does exclusively now), his feathers look better, his beak looks better, and he seems happier and more energetic. He talks more, he plays more. He also seems to like the stuff.

Would give 5 stars except it's a bit pricey. I have 3 macaws and a cockatoo. This is the only pellets 2 of the macaws will eat and the cockatoo likes it also. It's good to know they are getting complete organic nutrition. The 25 lb size means I don't have to make an order every month which is great.
