How big are the figures compared to a 28mm figure?

They remain the same size, no matter what you compare them to. You can cut off their heads to make them smaller or glue tiny platform shoes on them for added height.

Does the monkey, to african, to asian to caucasian accurately depict the evolutuonary process?

That is an old construct and there is great change afoot in the prehistoric man process. Clearly, there were numbers of people who looked differemt but were actually the same species, as are dogs today. For example, the difference between a dalmation and a chihuahua or a great dane and a pomeranian is a huge difference, but they are the same species. The differences between a Neanderthal, Denisovan, Homo erectus and us is not nearly as different. It goes into greater depth. The definition of species includes the rule that those of the same species can successfully mate and produce viable young (young who can also have young). Most people carry Neanderthal DNA and some, like me, also carry Denisovan DNA. I am persuaded if they ever find Homo erectus DNA, I'll carry that too. That means that Neanderthals and Denisovans are part of my ancestry and I am their viable young. Kind of throws a monkey wrench in the lock step view of evolution. But that's science. Science changes as data changes.

Great Humanoids

Awesome figurines! My son enjoys playing with them. They are good for little hands but have spears so I would only consider for ages 5 and up.

Great Figurines and Conversation/Thought Provokers

I really like the figures .. should have not waited or hesitated to buy them before. They have very detailed faces and bodies, and they all stand on their own except for my Homo Erectus whose feet are not flat enough, however will squash a little plasticene under his feet to look like ground, and problem solved! Wish there were other figures ... maybe Denisovan Man or Homo floresienis or Homo luzonensis ...

Cutest Figures

I love these as a decoration in my office! The information on the back about the different species is surprisingly accurate, too. One of the figures has a bit of a struggle standing on its own, but easily rectified with a little ticky tack. It would be cool if the came with little stands to put them on with their identifications.
