Freshness is the most important attribute for Spices
The cloves I received were stale, not fresh. The bag did have a lot number 316-24 and Best by Feb-2020. But the cloves were already stale. Freshness was the primary reason I purchased this 1-lb from Denver Spice, assuming they might have fresh spices and good inventory turn-over. I am most disappointed. I plan to request return of this bag, for a replacement bag of fresh cloves.
