But the RAM is too limited to take advantage of all its software features. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid system despite all the recent Synology drawbacks. *by on Reviewed in the United States 23 October 2025* Solid performance. This is the first rack mount Synology I’ve owned everything else has been desktop (we have three 8 bay desktop NAS as well). This is excellent, although much louder than our desktops but it does have redundant power supply and a smaller form factor so to be expected. ## Frequently Bought Together - Synology 8 bay RackStation RS1221RP+ (Diskless) - Synology Rail Kit Sliding RKS-02 - Synology 10Gb Ethernet and M.2 Adapter card E10M20-T1, RJ-45; 1 port --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/610045625-synology-8-bay-rackstation-rs1221rp-diskless](https://www.desertcart.it/products/610045625-synology-8-bay-rackstation-rs1221rp-diskless) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
