I wasn’t expecting much more than basic stickiness, but this tape surprised me. It’s solid, heavy-duty, and once it’s on, it’s not going anywhere. I’ve used it for LED strip lights, securing a dash cam in the car, and even for hanging small decor in the house. No peeling, no sliding, no mess. It’s easy to cut to size, the backing comes off without a fight, and it doesn’t leave residue when removed carefully. Just a heads up—make sure you place it where you want it, because the grip is strong right away. Overall, this 3M double-sided tape does exactly what it claims and saves me from drilling holes or dealing with weak adhesives. Definitely worth keeping around for both home and car projects.

I love how sturdy this 3M VHB heavy-duty tape is when it’s fresh, it holds flawlessly and blends right in, making installations effortless and clean. But after about four months, the adhesion noticeably weakened, and some items started coming loose. Now I know it needs surface prep and curing time to perform best, but buyers should be aware it’s not a permanent, forever solution especially in warm or exposed areas. I still rate it 4 stars because of the excellent initial performance and versatility but you’ll want to treat it like a semi-permanent adhesive, not a lifetime guarantee.

Works well! Use alcohol to clean, let thoroughly dry and press for 40 seconds! If applying in cold weather, use a heat gun to aide adhesion

I ordered this since it clearly says 3M product BUT the way it's worded on the package after looking at the seller I honestly wonder if it's actually 3M or some other type of similar product. Regardless the tape came as advertised and was sticky and seemed to work BUT one weird issue. So one side is sticky and the other has protective plastic on it and it was incredibly hard to get the protective plastic off, like there is nowhere to grip it or no section it easily pulls off. In the end I needed to borrow reading glasses (I have 25/20 vision which is near perfect) and a tweezers and took about six minutes to tear off the protective strip which was a little frustrating. Otherwise works as advertised.

Not bad, not crazy strong but works under a lot of pressure so if you can’t completely smash it down it won’t stick completely

Nothing to like about it. I wanted to purchase genuine 3M double sided tape. It clearly is not 3M, although it bears that trademark. Refunded through Amazon.

I bought this to stick a LED lamp on the ceiling of my greenhouse. At first, seemed to work but after about a week, started coming loose. Maybe it doesn’t stick well to aluminium, not sure
