Golden Monkey - also known as Jin Mao Hou - is a legendary Chinese black tea produced using only young buds harvested in spring of 2018 in Fuding County, Fujian Province. If legend is to be believed, the tea is named as so because it was picked by specially-trained monkeys from tea bushes not accessible to humans. When brewed, the leaves, which closely resemble monkey claws, produce a bright-orange liquor has a slightly-sweet, honey-peached taste with hints of roasted apples, walnuts and cocoa.
