The thickness it's neutral doesn't really help unless if you put a furry carpet. It's help if you drop a penny or small items doesn't really make sound but if you accidentally drop glass or a game controller that's a different story. I live in apartment so you know what happened next.

These are nice but you will need to buy literally 3-5x as many as you think you’ll need. The scale on these pictures is way off. Overall happy just wound up needing a lot more
