i am putting this on my xj with a 4.5 inch rough country kit and 2 inch spacers so approx 6.5inches will it work?

Yes it will be fine. I just put it on mine with 7.5-8 inches of lift with no trouble. For best results, make sure your track bar matches the angle of the drag link. The farther they are off the more bump steer you will have. I would recommend a do it yourself track bar kit from RUFF STUFF or BALLISTIC FAB. Put them where you want and adjust how you want.

According to the specs in the ad, 4” is the max. I’m putting it on a 4.5” suspension lift + 1” body lift. You can contact the company direct for a more detailed answer. FYI, with that much lift, you may want to go custom fab.
