Edit.. We are going in for a third time on these boys. Not because I want to, but because they deserve it. !Using the personalized sound profile EQ is REQUIRED to get these to perform at their full potential but once you do, they open up beautifully like a decanted wine and turn into a different set of buds entirely. So my first impressions weren't spot on with just the normal EQ. (the other review clearly didn't take the time to use this feature and neither did I at first, they sound gorgeous afterwards.) After well over 30 hours listening time with these and going back to back to back repeatedly with Bose QC ultras and Jabra 10 elites... These are relentlessly impressive. I'm going all in, 5 stars. I will find myself saying, I want to know what this song sounds like with the momentum 4s if I'm using anything else.. So even my second impressions weren't spot on. The sound is just so crisp and clean with a stark separation between vocals and each instrument with sharp notes and rumbling bass (although i still wish we had an extra click or two of bass). You can hear every little detail perfectly. The jabras give you more bass, a more full bodied intense harmonious and louder sound but its not as clean and distinct. while the jabras have the passion, the momentums have the precision. the bose are just meh by comparison in everything except ANC and honestly dont compete well with either after extensive testing. These sound clean, crisp, tight, and full. It's like the artist is playing the music next to you rather than through a speaker. You can hear delicate parts of the music Bose and Jabra can't even touch. The momentum 4s give you a very pretty, intricate sound where the jabras give you a powerful bold sound, so depending on your taste and type of music you like, jabras may be your preference. The momentum 4s kind of dominate on pure sound with the extra EQ although I stand by that the ANC is average like sony/apple etc and isn't a huge difference between it being on and off. The fit and passive noise cancelling is phenomenal so you get pretty great performance overall, just not like Bose which is like turning the world off. Maybe someday other companies will crack the code like Bose did. The software is beautifully designed with lots of customization features, a very cool personalized sound profile which drastically changes the sound potential of these buds and you need to take the time to use it! Fully changeable touch features, other audio goodies people like. they are extremely comfortable over long periods, have a nice masculine clean look, touch controls are great and responsive, they connect to 2 devices seamlessly. zero connectivity issues, solid battery life, beautiful english accent to the voice prompts. case is great and i like how its not slippery as its covered in weaved fabric. they are encroaching on perfection. They could use a little more bass and ANC needs work. They don't get quite as loud as others but I just turn them up higher? You won't be maxing them out I can't imagine. if you really appreciate music and want to feel like the music is in the room with you and hear every detail clearly, these are a winner. Easily in the fight for the top ear buds in 2024. They could be the best for you depending on your taste.

Lets open with qualifications: I've been a Sennheiser customer since 2010, purchasing dozens of consumer and pro level products from them and have generally consider them to be my go to if I need any kind of audio playback that sits on my head or in my ears. With that out of the way, I'll start with the good and then move on to the bad; These have near unparalleled audio quality for true wireless sets. They're fairly comfortable and have decent noise cancellation. The app is relatively easy to use, though they do seem to love arbitrarily moving where options are located. The tips are comfortable, the battery life is okay, and they are pretty user friendly. Q: It sounds like you love these headphones right? What gives? A: I did love these headphones! There is one major flaw though, and it cannot be over stated. The fatal flaw is that these headphones, and their charging case by extension, CANNOT BE POWERED OFF. Earlier generations of this product had options in the app to shut down the battery pod and the ear pieces if you ever really needed to, like if say you were to leave them in your pocket and send them into the washing machine. All the online literature says to power them down and leave them without power for 24 hours in the event of water exposure, but there is no way to power them down. The earbuds go into power save mode when placed in the charging case or when left idle for 15 minutes, but there is no way to shut these down if you really need to, at all. Why? Your guess is as good as mine, but ultimately it means that any water exposure to the charging case WILL be fatal, as you can't give it a chance to dry out and try later. Mine shorted, ran the battery all the way down in about 25 minutes, and has been inoperable since. I get the privilege of ordering a $120 replacement case instead. I have been a long time fan of Sennhieser products, but since they split the company up quality control and customer service have been a problem, and oversights like this in terms of product design (honestly, why did they take away the ability to power down these devices? I'm pretty sure it's illegal to sell devices you can't power off, especially those with wireless communications systems) make it hard to recommend these pricey, poorly supported products to other users. To end on a high note, I was able to easily source a new charging case, instead of having to buy a whole new set of earbuds, so good on them for that. And I will acknowledge that it was my fault the device became damaged, but their own posted solution for water exposure is literally impossible, so any good kind of gets washed away by the bad here. Ultimately, it's 95% a great product, but the 5% is enough to ruin it.

BACKGROUND: I love sound. An 11.1 home theater system is my reference, and due to my love of movies, deep, rumbling bass is my preference. Music requires more precision in a subwoofer (sealed vs vented enclosure typically), but if I can only have one, my bias is towards theater use. I also prefer "bright" speakers over more neutral or warm, so Klipsch is a favorite of mine. So, the bronze on black Sennheiser Momentum 4's tugged on my heartstrings a bit. COMPARABLES: I've previously had Samsung buds (Buds Live and Buds2 Pro) due to their integration with their phones, but was looking for better sound. I've had Sennheiser wired buds before and loved them, but was also interested in the Technics AZ-80's due to stellar reviews. I also looked into the Denon PerL Pro's, but they didn't make it into my cart due to their large "dinner plate" design. They get rave reviews for sound quality, but I draw the line on aesthetics somewhere. SOUND: So, the shootout was between the Technics and Sennheisers and neither is a clear winner. The Technics sound a bit more natural and "cleaner" while the Sennheisers sound more punchy and lively. Both sound great, but if I had to pick one for overall sound for every application, I'd lean toward the Technics. They just sound clean and detailed. The Sennheisers are more customizable however. The app really let's you tinker with the sound profile, especially after you set up an account (a must for all the extra features). Out of the box, Technics sound better, but with adjustments, the Sennheisers close the gap. The Denons require tinkering as well to get them fine-tuned to your ears. FEATURES: The Sennheiser app is much more robust than the Technics app. Here it's not close - Sennheiser is a clear winner. Changing settings, customizing the eq and sound profile, and adjusting parameters is pretty straightforward here while a bit less so in the Technics app, which is a bit less intuitive to use. The ANC is ever-so-slightly better on the Sennheisers, but not enough to make a decision on that alone. FIT AND FINISH: Both sets look the business, but the Sennheisers are lower profile and fit more securely in my ears. Every ear is different, so this is a "try before you buy" situation, but for me, the Sennheisers were a clear winner for fit. The Technics case is petite in comparison however. It slips in a pocket and feels svelt while the Sennheiser case feels enormous. The cloth texture is a unique and premium touch and I'm a fan... But the size is noticeable. The charge port is also on the front, which I don't like whereas the Technics puts it in the back where it should be. The charge light is also better on the Technics, both in form and function, having a light on the outside and inside of the case showing battery and charge status. The Sennheisers only have a light on the outside of the case, partially obscured by the charge cable if plugged in. Technics case is a clear winner. VERDICT: Both of these buds are great, and each have their pros and cons. I like the fit and app of the Sennheisers way more than the Technics, but the Technics case is better and the sound is better out of the box. Technics' Three point pairing is an added bonus, but only at normal sound quality, which makes the feature moot for me. Technics seem to have a bit better quality control with less reported issues, but I'm hoping firmware updates have sorted out most of the kinks by now. For me, the Sennheisers simply fit my ears better and the app made it overall a much more pleasant experience. With some tinkering, I might be able to fine tune the sound a bit more and make them the winner in that department as well. The Klipsch (or Duracell) color scheme is pretty sweet on the Sennheisers, but the silver on the Technics is slick as well.

Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 IEMs feature a 7mm dynamic driver, wireless connection and noise cancellation, allowing you to switch between ANC and aware modes. The wireless design can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. Modern DACs can deliver excellent quality in a tiny package, but having the Bluetooth receiver and DAC inside each earbud means there’s less room for additional or larger drivers. And it shows—this model has the least impressive drivers of the IEMs I tested recently: just a single 7mm dynamic driver in each earbud. A single driver can be fine, if it's a planar driver. Planar drivers in my opinion are a revolution in headphones and IEMs. Unfortunately, Sennheiser MTW4 use a dynamic driver. To be honest, in my experience, really good sound in IEMs starts at $300, so I didn't have much hope for this Sennheiser model which I got for $200, but which often costs closer to $300. But my friend highly recommended them. Plus, they have powerful bass, and after buying 2 x 18" subwoofers I've temporarily become a basshead :) I'm sure this bass addiction will pass, but for now I'm enjoying lots of ultra low bass. So, the first thing I did with the Sennheiser MTW4s was to test the bass response. It's truly powerful and amplified. I checked the frequency response graphs, and at 20 Hz it's about 4 dB higher than on my favorite Fiio FH9. So for bass, these are good. The second positive thing is that these IEMs are not fatiguing. I didn't notice any peaks at any frequencies (besides the bass, obviously). Third, they fit comfortably. Unfortunately, for me, that's where the positives end. On to the negatives: The downside of non-fatiguing sound is that it feels muffled, dull, too warm, and has softened highs. Secondly, instrument separation isn't great—these can't compete with truly high-end, expensive IEMs or headphones. Third, the soundstage feels too narrow, again compared to pricier and better-performing IEMs. Fourth, the max volume is probably the lowest among all IEMs I've ever tried. And finally, while the bass is powerful, in my opinion, its quality isn’t great. It’s not very tight, and it doesn’t remain clearly separated when multiple instruments are playing. This difference became especially obvious when I compared the bass to my next contender—the Campfire Audio SuperMoon. I don't want to bring even more negatives about Sennheiser... I love this company, and they produce some of the best headphones and IEMs in the world. For example, their HD800 open headphones got the 2nd place in my selection of headphones in $2000 price range (HIFIMAN HE1000 v2 won for me and I kept them). However, I feel like Sennheiser got too comfortable with being a leader in the world of hi-fi headphones and they start losing the battle to relatively new brands, like Chinese Fiio or HIFIMAN, or some US brands, like Dan Clark. These competing manufacturers constantly increase the sound quality by using multiple drivers, or using planar drivers, or using new revolutionary technologies. Dan Clark, for example, uses exclusively magnetic planar drivers, and are renowned for delivering a sense of openness and spaciousness (in their closed headphones) typically associated with top-tier open-back models like the Sennheiser HD 800 S or advanced HIFIMAN models. This "open-like" quality stems from a combination of innovative engineering, precise tuning, and materials science that minimizes the usual sonic drawbacks of closed designs—such as boxy resonance, compressed staging, and veiled highs—while retaining isolation benefits. Sennheiser, for some reason, is not really growing or improving. For example, one of their top IEMs: IE 600 (costing $700 - $800), also uses just a single 7mm dynamic driver. I'm afraid if it continues like this, Sennheiser may go out of business if they don't start improving rapidly.

So, I came from Sony xm4s which fried (loved those buds) I was stricken with whether to upgrade to the Sony xm5 or switch off. Found this in comparison videos and glad I did. These are better than xm4s. If you were comparing both I know it's a hard comparison. The battery is great, noise canceling is better than the Sony 4. With music playing you can't really hear the world (even walking next to heavy traffic. I took a call next to a busy road and the caller told me it almost sounded like I was in a quiet room assuming I was still at work though I was next to the road which is interesting. I could hear her perfectly fine too. I haven't played with their equalizer it's stock right now. I was a bit conflicted by sound quality initially. It sounded good but I felt something was slightly missing. I changed the standard on my phone to the hi res aptx. I have a Samsung s22 ultra (upgrading to s24 ultra soon) and the quality improved despite hearing Samsung shouldn't support that. Unless it's better but not true res or there was a supporting update idk. But it sounds just about flawless. Idk what the Sony xm5 sounds like but I know the controversy surrounding it. All in all I'm very happy. Also, I haven't noticed any hissing sound I've heard past reviewers mention though I heard an update addressed it. I'm very very happy.... last thing only negative. Sometimes they do wear on my ears. My ears do get tired (sometimes) a bit bulky but they fit very good. I don't have small ears, if you do Goodluck. ***Update- about 2 years later. So these bad boys fried roughly 2 years in started crackling and audio went out. They were used daily and very heavily for many hours. What I can say is I've dropped them several time on concrete etc. They been out with me in the conditions. I live in Vegas. I believe what fried them eventually was heat and possibly sweat getting inside. They fried one at a time right then days later the left. Luckily It was prime day and I got my new ones the next day after the left went out a wopping 150 dollars cheaper for 200. I usually always upgrade when I need to so this is rare for me to pick up the same pair that fried on me. However my experience with them was phenomenal. Nothing lacking. Case always sturdy reliable just darken with age and wear but still looks good despite it being a fabric feel. Sound quality great throughout the 2 years. It literally felt like im putting my old pair back in with the new ones. So.. why I didnt upgrade to another brand? Couldn't find any worthy to fit my preferences, and I do very heavy research. The sennheiser buds stayed strong till the end. Again I believe the elements eventually caught up to it. Fit and sound is always subjective but these were always great for me. Hope to make these last and upgrade beyond this pair. Side note im splurging on over ear headphones for my at home podcast/ music from beyerdynamics. I aaaalmost picked up the HD 660s2 from sennheiser which im still drawn to but wanted the more premium headset build. These earbuds are my go to daily. Went from copper to black as shown in pictures.

Was definitely wary with all the high return rate and review. I really wanted this pair with Bose and Sony as alternative. Figure I can return if needed. 4-Star as it's not perfect product and does have issue. At this moment, I plan on keeping these earbud. Here my experience with it. Case - Really nice cloth quality case - Charging LED is on the left side of USB-C. I wish it was on the top middle. - Size is about 7cm L x 4cm W x 3.5cm H. A tad bigger/bulkier than other case. Pairing: -No pairing or discovering issue. -Able to connect to my PC with Sennheiser dongle and S23 Ultra. - Can use each bud independently BT Connection Range - ~15-20ft. Battery Life w/ + Multipoint + 50% volume level + ANC off - About 5.5hr with Low-Latency Resolution. -Battery ECO Mode: I don't see myself using it but assume it would add 1-2hr - At 10%, you get alert of “Recharge Headset”. You can turn this alert to Tone Only or Off. Audio Resolution -Standard (default): I recommend to NOT use this. I get like ~7 crackling per hr. Most likely one of the reasons why many people are returning. -Low-Latency: No crackling in 5.5 hr movie session. Experienced like ~5-8 crackling in a 5 hr Live Stream. Way better experience. I feel like the crackling was due to video cycling with different audio rate and possibly streaming platform limitation. -Hi-Res and Lossless: No issue with movie, music and gaming. Same issue with streaming video above. Multi-Point: -Switching between PC dongle and Phone can give initial crackling/static for like 3-4 sec mainly on PC with Standard resolution. Low-Latency/Hi-Res/Lossless did not have this issue. -Seems like you must pause device 1 before it would connect to device 2. -No/minimal delay in connectivity between switching device. Wearing - Did not fall with vigorous head shake or light workout like jumping jack. I could feel it bounce like it going to fall out but it did loosen at all. Audio Quality - Amazing with crisp and clear audio from video, music and game. - Noticeable difference between S23 Ultra which doesn't have aptX codec and the PC with BTD600 dongle. The PC is better but the S23 is also good. - Gaming Fit Test - The pre-install ear bud was seemingly perfect fit for me but Fit Test deem it as invalid. Switching it to another size gave Good Fit. Repeat test can sometime change the result to like Poor/Fair Fit. - After 5 hr of wearing, I switched back to the one that was "comfortable" for me due to ear pain. So just use the Fit Test as a reference guide. ANC & Touch Control: - Have option of: Off/On or Off/Anti-Wind. - ANC seems average. "On" is better than "Anti-Wind" at noise reduction in my opinion. It reduce like my AC sound by like 80% and I cannot hear the AC with "tranquil" music playing at 70% volume. Transparency Level (hear through): -Has a slider and works with no issue. Touch Control: -x1, x2, x3 Tap and Hold. -Can customize each ear bud independently of on another. -Cannot customized touch control setting during phone call. x1 tap for Accept/Mute. x2 tap for Reject/End. Equalizer - Option for Bass Boost or Podcast - Has dB band slider for 63Hz, 250, 1000, 4000, 8000 (not for the average user to tinker with) - 7 preset for different genre (Rock, Pop, Movie,Jazz etc) and customize. Sound Zones -Allow to automatically change your sound based on your pre-configure location (i.e. home, room, basement etc)

The Sennheiser MTW4 earbuds are the very definition of a mixed bag for me. Sound quality & comfort are both top-notch, but they're also exceedingly glitchy to the point that I considered them defective and returned them. I can't say whether this is just a bad unit or a widespread problem but it was more than enough to ruin these for me. See below for my large list of glitches that I encountered in only a few days. All of these would be fixed by quickly putting the earbuds back in the case and taking them out, but I was doing this genuinely a dozen times a day at least. It's too much. This was on the latest firmware version too. Most common was only one earbud working. I found that you need to remove both buds from the case at the exact same time- taking one out even seconds after the first leads to only the first playing audio. The second would still connect and touch controls would work, but no music would play. Frequently these would de-sync and one earbud would lag behind the other a bit completely ruining the audio. Volume mismatch. Often the volume level of one would get louder or quieter than the other out of nowhere, shifting the perceived audio source to one side. Random connections. Sometimes my phone would randomly connect to the earbuds while they were in the case in my pocket, stealing the audio away from whichever output I was currently using. Latency swings. These support the snapdragon qualcomm bluetooth standard enabling high quality audio and super low latency. Sometimes the latency would be imperceivable, and then suddenly swing to 800+ms (measured via latency visualizers on youtube). This made mouths and games play WAY out of sync. Transparency mode. This would turn itself on randomly when switching devices or turning them on. It wasn't me accidentally using the touch controls because I removed that option from them. Bluetooth multipoint. Probably 80% of the time it would not work. The earbuds would be connected to both devices, but I could not switch between the two of them and the audio would only play out of the 1st one connected.

Bought these buds to hear the bass, Instead, I spent an hour adjusting my face. They’re bright chalk-white, which looks real slick, Until one pops out like a magic trick. One hundred eighty bucks down the drain If it falls in the couch, never seen again. The sound is lush, the mids are sweet, A masterpiece of audio feat! I hit "Play" on some heavy metal, And watched my earthly problems settle. The soundstage blew me straight away, I thought, “Okay, they’re worth the pay!” Then came the touch controls—pure chaos, Designed to ruin my mental health and pay off. I tried to adjust the fit in my ear, Accidentally ordered three cases of beer, Hung up on my boss, turned spatial audio on, And somehow reset my neighbor's lawn. The ANC’s so dark and deep, The SWAT team broke in while I was asleep. Sirens flashing, flashbangs thrown, I’m sitting there in a world of my own, Muting reality, deaf to the crime, Nodding along in standard double-time. They dragged me outside in my underpants, Still locked in a blissful audio trance. I gave the lead officer a satisfied grin, And tapped my right ear to tune him back in. He read me my rights, but the bass hit so clean, I just asked if he'd recommend custom EQ for the scene.

The quality of these earbuds has no match at all with others on the market. I've used Apple AirPods for years and it's always been annoying that they fall out of my ears. That doesn't happen at all with these Sennheiser MTW4 earbuds. They adhere perfectly to the ear, there is clearly quality engineering completely blocking out external noise. You can see that the technology isn't generic like other models; they make a huge difference. Thank you for this hearing technology for music lovers and audio quality enthusiasts.

Best sound for price ever.

From a Sennheiser Momentum 1 experience, this product is a downgrade and it completely disappoint me, other than comfort and best sound quality, the mic sucks it sounds like I’m speaking from beneath a pillow and I really need to use it on calls, the noise canceling is worse even momentum 1 is better at that, if not for the manufacturing defect that makes the case charge infinitely I would’ve been holding to it till now. I’d like to see improvements because I really love this brand.

追記(2026/04/08)＆評価修正(星４→星５) iPhone Airへの機種変更に伴い、評価を上方修正しました。 以下は、イヤホン性能比較では無く、再生デバイス側の性能比較です。 比較対象（全てANCオフ＆イコライザーオフ） ①iPhone Air AAC Amazonミュージック(最大 24bit/96kHz)＊現在のメイン環境 ②iPhone Air AAC Appleミュージック(最大 24bit/48kHz) ③Xperia10III aptX Adaptive(24bit/48kHz) Amazonミュージック(最大 24bit/96kHz) ④Xperia10III aptX Adaptive(24bit/96kHz) Amazonミュージック(最大 24bit/96kHz) イヤーピースを「Comply TW-400-C GEN3 for Sennheiser Mサイズ」に換装済み。 ANCがオフでも周囲の音を物理的に遮断可能。あと、めくれなくなって快適です。 音質比較結果 ④＞③≒①≒②（「≒」と書いたものの、左側の方が高音質に聴こえます） 室内との条件であれば、④は明らかに高音質ですが、以前のレビュー通り、あらゆるスマホ操作によって音飛び＋再接続が発生する為、実用に耐えません。完全ワイヤレスイヤホンの真価は外出先での試聴でのみ判断されるべきですから論外です。 従って③が次点に来るかと思いきや、①が大健闘しており、正直、私の耳では甲乙つけ難いレベルです。実際にマルチポイント接続で切り替えながら試聴していますが、敢えて言うならば、①は低音が少し弱いかな…とか、YOASOBIのアイドルの「合いの手」が気持ちボヤけて聴こえるかな…程度。メインボーカルは遜色なく聴こえます。 良い機会なので、②Appleミュージックでも検証してみました。 何が良いって、デザインですよ、非常にセンス溢れる見た目がステキだ… カラオケ機能はスゴいよ！ボタン一つでボーカルが消えるから！ …すみません、音質評価でしたね。 Amazonミュージックから切り替えた瞬間「あ、違うな」と感じる程度には違います。 若干空気感が増すかな…悪い言い方をすれば、少々スカスカ。 なのですが、もうこの辺は「好み」のレベルだと思います。だってデザインがホントに優れているんだもの… 自宅の音楽再生環境がAppleよりであれば、Appleミュージックを選ぶべきだと思いますね。 私の場合は、ネットワークプレイヤーとして、WiiM Ultra(AirPlay非対応)を導入している為、Amazonミュージック一択。アレクサキャストは本当に便利、Amazonミュージックアプリでほぼ全ての操作（設定変更以外）が可能です、おすすめです。 ちなみに接続安定性評価では、 ①＝②＞③＞越えられない壁＞④ となり、iPhone Airに新たに搭載された、Apple N1 ワイヤレスネットワークチップによる、AAC接続の安定性は抜群で、混雑時の駅、交差点、交通量の多寡、いかなる場合でも音飛びが発生しません。また、大事な事ですが「音」が一定で、一切劣化しません。 ワイヤレス接続のコーデックは、最新の「aptX Lossless」を除けば、全て不可逆圧縮であり、また、可逆の「aptX Lossless」ですら、周囲の環境により、不可逆圧縮による再生(aptX Adaptive)に成り下がるようです。 それがイヤならば「有線」イヤホンなのでしょうが、やはり、完全ワイヤレスの齎す圧倒的な利便性に（私は）勝てないのですよね… 参考までに、Amazonミュージックアプリ上の「オーディオ品質」表示 ①(楽曲の品質)24bit/96kHz→(iPhone)24bit/48kHz→(MTW4)24bit/96kHz ②(楽曲の品質)24bit/48kHz→(iPhone)24bit/48kHz→(MTW4)24bit/48kHz ③(楽曲の品質)16bit/44.1kHz→(iPhone)16bit/44.1kHz→(MTW4)16bit/44.1kHz 多分、iPhoneのスピーカーでは24bit/48kHzで再生可能だからって事だと思います。 ゼンハイザーのアプリ上では「AAC 44.1kHz」と表示されます。 追記のまとめ Apple AACがスゴいのか、MOMENTUM True Wireless 4がスゴいのか… おそらく、ゼンハイザー側も、Appleデバイスでのチューンアップを行ったであろうと感じさせる出来映え。 iPhoneってAAC、なんでしょ？音質良くないんでしょ？ドングル挿さないと駄目なんでしょ？等などのご意見、あるかもしれませんが… ドングルが無くても大丈夫、こちらの「MOMENTUM True Wireless 4」ならね！ ステキなミュージック・ライフがあなたを待っていますよ！ そう言えば、BTD700とのセットが、新生活セールFinal価格で「衝撃価格」でしたね… ゼンハイザーのフラグシップがこの値段で買えるなら、間違いなく即ポチクラスでおすすめ！（あれ？ドングルは要らないんじゃないかって？それならPC接続等に使ったらイイんですよ！） 追記ここまで 約三ヶ月使用してのレビューです。 Xperia10IIIとaptX Adaptiveで接続し、Amazon Music Unlimitedの24bit 96KHz（48KHz＊後述）環境です。 約二年愛用した、同社の CX Plus True Wireless SE が故障した為、代替品を探していました。 EAH-AZ100 と最後まで迷いましたが、こちらがセール価格になっていた為、購入を決意。今のところは十分満足しています。 良かったところ ・非常にコンパクト。最初に思ったのは「小さい！」です。CX Plus True Wireless SE は若干角張ったデザインでしたが、MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 は丸みを帯びており、持ち易さと共に高級感あふれるデザインとなっています。 ・ケースからの取り出し易さ。マグネットの強さが絶妙です。 ・タッチコントロールがほぼ全てカスタマイズ可能。外音取り込みやノイズキャンセリング機能を別々に登録できるイヤホンはあまり多くありません。ゼンハイザーが他社より優れているポイントの一つだと思っています。誤動作もありません。ちなみに同社のフラグシップヘッドホンである MOMENTUM 4 のタッチコントロールは駄目駄目です。 ・ゼンハイザーサウンドの統一性。同社のイヤホン差し替えなので、私好みの音がそのままアップグレードされました。私の耳はもう、ゼンハイザーに魅了されてしまっているので、肝心の音質は他の方のレビューを参考にした方がよろしいかと思いますが、間違いなく星５。 気になるところ ・接続性。Xperia10IIIのaptX Adaptive接続は、48KHzと96KHzどちらかを選べる仕様になっていますが、96KHz接続では、あらゆるスマホ操作によって接続が途切れる＆再接続が発生します。48KHz接続に変更すると非常に安定するのですが。Amazon Music Unlimitedの24bit 96KHzで再生していますが、48KHz接続にもかかわらず、Amazonアプリ内では96KHz接続になっています。正直どちらで接続されてるのか分かりません。マルチポイントを無効にしても治りませんので、個体差でしょうか。 ・Creative BT-W5 とペアリングできない。距離を詰めれば極稀にペアリング表示されますが、接続を維持することができません。同社の BTD600 では完全無事にペアリング可能です。後継の BT-W6 はメーカー動作確認リストに載っているのに…買い換えろって事でしょうか。 ・充電端子がケース前面という謎仕様。qi 充電を推奨しますよって事でしょうか。ちなみにバッテリー延命の為、最大80％で止められる設定が可能なのは英断。謎の安心感があります。 ・標準イヤーピースが吸い付く。外す時にまず間違いなくめくれます。良し悪しですかね、吸い付くって事は耳にピッタリしている、と感じるか否か。 ・換えのイヤーピースが紙のケースにくるまれているだけ。Lのイヤーピースが潰れてしまっていました。フラグシップにあるまじき仕様だと思います。こういう些細な点などがゼンハイザーの悪名高き「サポート体制の悪さ」というイメージを定着させてしまっているのではないでしょうか。残念です。 まとめ ・音質星５。デザイン星５。これ程、所有欲を満足させてくれるデザインは唯一無二。カッコいいのよ… ・接続性星－１。CX Plus True Wireless SE の接続性は完璧だったのに…ファームウェアで改善できませんかね？ ・従って星４.５。十分におすすめできるワイヤレスイヤホンです。 ・メーカー保証期間の２年後にはたぶん次のフラグシップが発売されるはず。たぶん買う。あなたも「ゼンハイザー」のオーナーになりませんか？
