I thought it would slide like the tray I got for the front console - it doesn't. However, doesn't really matter as it gives you a sort of secret compartment underneath because when this tray is in your car, it looks like it was fitted at the factory and yet you can just lift it out to get to your stuff underneath. I like it because previously my stuff that I needed access to would just slide around as the that arm rest space is huge. The quality of the material is very, very good too.

This fits like a glove and provides easy access to your little bits n pieces.
