It did tingle a bit at first but felt soothing afterwards. This hydrogel mask is on the thicker side and is similar to the under eye patches. It doesn’t have a mesh layer infused with the hydrating ingredients like other hydrogel masks. Because of this, the adhesion wasn’t great. It felt heavy and slippery when I first put it on. Towards the end of the 30 minutes, the bottom half of the mask kept falling off and I was stretching it to make it stay on.
