First time win
Love this color! And it works really well! I submerged a Turkish over dyed rug in a plastic tub filled with dye an let it soak all day. For my first time, I think it came out amazing! There are a few spots that are lighter, and you have to be careful if you need to put cleaner on it. But it can always be dyed again. I forget how many bottles I used, but it was at least 4 to get it this dark.

Does the job
The dye worked very well and produced a rich, dark brown color. I used it for a small craft project and even with a non-traditional item, the color took evenly and looked consistent once finished. The liquid dye was easy to mix and apply, and a little went a long way. One important note is that this dye is very strong, so wearing gloves is a must to avoid staining skin. Overall, it’s a reliable product for crafting or color-changing projects and does exactly what it’s designed to do.

Perfect Dark Brown Dye with Slight Cool Undertone
I used this dye to recolor some pants, and it was super easy to use. I followed the washing-machine dying method outlined on the website. One pair turned out perfectly with zero issues. The other ended up a tiny bit splotchy, but that could have been avoided if I had stirred them the whole time like the instructions said. The color is perfect—only dark brown I could find, and it has a slight purple/cool undertone, which is exactly what I wanted. Time will tell how well the color holds up. There was a little bleeding in the first wash after dying, which is expected. By the third wash, there was no bleeding at all.

nice color
I like the color and there were a pair of plastic gloves attached to the bottle but I still got my fingers green .... when I searched to the color on amazon I was looking for Rit dye more to dye synthetics however when I got it mixed and in the pan on the stove before I noticed this was regular dye for natural fibers but I dyed my dress anyways it came out a light blue ....rit doesn't not make dyemore in neon green you need to mix teal and yellow dyemore to get this shade as what is stated on their website

The clothes turned out well, let's see how many washes the color lasts.
I received the dye, but unfortunately, the bottle was opened and the liquid spilled inside the packaging. I decided not to return it and used it on my jeans, shorts, and dress, which had faded and turned a grayish color after washing. I soaked the items in the solution for about an hour, and after drying, the dye took well, resulting in a rich black color. We'll see how long the color lasts after washing.

It works! Just be patient
This stuff WORKS. Pants were originally camo green. 7-8 years ago I dyed them black. It took 7-8 years before they began to fade. Bought another bottle, followed the directions..sort of, and they look like new black pants. It's sort of pretty impressive actually. I used a cup of salt in boiling water in a turkey fryer pot.. let the water cool to just under boiling, and submerged. Stirred it around a bit and left them there for a few hrs. Then I rinsed with cold and..boom. seriously looks like a fresh new pair. Go do it..its awesome.

Didn't work for my sweatpants.
I got this to dye my sweatpants, and the dye didn't set, even after following directions and ironing the sweatpants. It mostly washed out after a single cycle in the washer. It didn't fully was out, so I used a sharpie to stain the bleach stains more.

Does The Trick
Definitely does the job. Dyed perfectly. For jeans, may need a double dye.

I had a hat that I discoloured using baking soda and too stiff of a toothbrush. After trying to wash it a few times, I searched Google and it said that I could try to dye it as a last resort. I ordered the all purpose dye with a color as close as possible to the original color of the hat. I followed all the instructions and it worked great! No more discoloration.

I used Ritdye Canyon liquid all-purpose colour 8oz bottles. Per 2 cotton Ikea chair covers I used the following recipe: 1 - 8oz bottle Ritdye Canyon colour 1 cup salt 1 tsp dish soap 6 gallons of HOT water (140*) Combine all ingredients and soak chair covers for 30 minutes, stirring frequently, especially at the beginning. I dyed 8 chair covers in total but I did them in batches of two and I made a fresh batch of dye for each pair. The colour is true to the bottle and the product was easy to use. I put the container in the bath tub because it was a splashy process! The last photo is the 'before' colour of the chair covers. The finished dyed colour is a gorgeous rich terracotta.
