PETER PAUPER PRESS Studio Series Colored Pencil Set (Set of 30)

I love these color pencils! They work great;much better than your average Crayola, but obviously not like the Prismacolor. They are a perfect choice for intermediate artists or people who want to color with a little aesthetic; the wooden pencils look insanely cute in a gold pencil holder due to their raw wood exterior. Furthermore, the color choice is quite wide, so it will fulfill your color choice needs much better than a cheap 12 pencil set. However, the packaging cannot be used for storage; it is flimsy and thin plastic. You may need to find a pencil cup or pouch to hold these, unlike some other brands which have great storage option included. Overall, this was a great product which was worth the money.

good pencils for the money. I haven't had any problems with them, including sharpening them. They color nicely. I like that you can keep them in the case, they come with a sharpener & eraser. I just recently got into adult coloring & this was my first set of colored pencils I purchased. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on them in case I ended up not enjoying coloring & find these are great for the price. I wasn't sure how many colored pencils I would need, didn't want to get to few but also didn't want to get to many since I was a beginner. I find 30 is just about the right amount for the beginner like myself. I'm sure in the future I will advance to a larger quantity

I am one that loves to color and was looking an affordable color pencil set. That is when I ran across these babies and decided to give them a try. I receive them and instantly fell with them. They provide all different types of colors for that nice cool and warm coloring feeling. There are about 3 or 4 different shades of colors for each one which is great for blending when coloring. I would definitely recommend anyone that is looking for great coloring set to give this one a try. You won't be disappointed. Oh and also another thing they sharpen perfectly and don't easily break like crayola's coloring pencils another + about these

I gave these 4 stars because of the price they are very nice pencils. The colors are beautiful and so smooth and buttery. I would buy these pencils over and over again. You can’t beat the price for for 30 really nice pencils. I can say I already purchased the 50 pencil set because I wanted the full range of colors. Again I was not disappointed. The color range is very good.

The color pencils were actually very colorful and bright. I gifted this set along with a sketch pad to my nephew for Christmas. Before I wrote a review, I wanted to ensure his love of the pencils did not fade. He gave them and continues to give them two thumbs up! He takes great care of them and keeps them orderly in the case. The pencils are top-notch quality. I have to admit I was skeptical because of the price/cost, but its a great find! highly recommended!

These were unexpectedly good pencils. What I will say though it that they definitely favor the yellows and oranges but lack variety in other colors. Wish their was more neutral colors some of them can be very bright. Pro's - Writes well and can be blended easily I tend to stack colors when I need to. Stay sharp for a while, color is pigmented well so a little goes a long way. Cons - Color variety is not the greatest - need a bigger pack. Colors don't have names - I find it easier when colors have names.

These pencils are great! They are so smooth and easy to use. A nice length and you can use them down to nearly nothing but a little nub. They are comfortable to hold and you will love the results you get with them. I keep an extra set all the time. You will order over and again. Don't just buy one set get at least two. You'll pay a whole lot more if you buy them at the book stores. Beside that-- Amazon gets them quicker than you can drive to the book store or art shop to get them.

Why did I buy them? I bought them for my fiancée to color this book Enchanted Forest: An Inky Quest & Coloring Book How are they? There is a very nice selection of colors: in particular there are a few varieties of browns and greens that are perfect for the Enchanted Forest coloring book. The tip is sharp enough to color small areas. The set also includes a rubber and a sharpener. Bottom line: Unless you are a professional artist, you will love these pencils.

I am not happy with this product. The color doesn't get spread equally and need to put a lot pressure to get the derker shade. It took long to deliver.And it is not worthy in terms of price too. Can get better quality in lesser price

Easily the greatest coloured pencils I’ve ever used. The soft lead makes blending and shading super easy, and you don’t have to press so hard to build intensity! Especially great since I typically have pains in my wrist; not having to press down so hard to get a nice, even colour makes it much less painful to do what I love. Highly recommend and will be buying again in the future!
