Solid ELRS receiver with reliable performance and great value
I installed this HGLRC ELRS 2.4GHz Nano receiver on my Sub250 OasisFly30, and so far it’s been excellent. The setup was smooth, and the connection has been rock solid. At 150–200 yards I’ve had zero range or signal issues, and I’m looking forward to testing it at longer distances. The value is great for the price, and I trust it enough that I’m considering adding another one to my second OasisFly25 build. My Flywoo LR4 also came with this receiver pre-installed, and I’ve had no problems with that setup either, which adds to my confidence in its reliability. It comes with two antennas with different links so you should have no issues fitting this to different quad builds. The size is very tiny and light and should squeeze into tight spaces. See images attached. The receiver seems very strong/durable. It also comes with a heat shrink which gives it an extra layer of protection and durability. Pros: • Easy installation and setup • Strong, stable signal with no dropouts so far • Good range (tested 150–200 yards with no issues) • Great price for the performance • Works consistently across different builds Cons: • Haven’t tested extreme long range yet (but no issues so far) Overall: This is a reliable and affordable ExpressLRS receiver. Between the stable performance, ease of use, and value, I’d definitely recommend it and plan to buy more for future builds.

Incredible receiver, especially for the size
Great fpv receiver, haven't tested it at insane range but it has definitely gone ≥1 mile with greater than -70 rssi dbm with output being 250mw at 150hz. It's also absolutely tiny and comes with 2 antenna lengths so it will fit wherever u want it. Definitely have to direct solder it tho cause those connectors just aren't strong enough for something as important as control link. The solder pads are about as big as the pads on a flight controller so it's easy to solder too aswell. It also works on ELRS 3.5.0 so idk why everyone is trying to claim it only runs on older versions or something.

Most Durable ELRS Receiver I've Used
WHYWHY THIS RECEIVER I didn’t need something with the longest range, I was looking for an ELRS receiver that was very durable for some line of sight flying for DIY foam board planes. PROS No antennas to break off Decent range despite pronounce antennas CONS Not the longest range ELRS receiver (but that wasn’t what I was looking for) OVERALL This receiver met my needs. It has been through 30 or 40 crashes and works just fine.

Great purchase good quality would recommend!
So far it's a great receiver, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! It's funny bcuz i tried to return it due to it's smaller then a fingernail size (I bought it for it's cheap price). While returning it Amazon said keep it and still gave the refund (never happened before). So I ended up experimenting with the smaller solder pads, got it right the first try, and it's been nothing but great to me so far! Would recommend for sure!

Great reciever, now just the same price...
Bound up real quick and easy. Great range and very very small so easy to put anywhere in rc craft. I us it on my quadcopter, and it's great. Flown over a football field and more with no break up. Probably not even any where close to its limits. Sad to see it almost double in price for greed.

Check your wiring! Plug disconnects easily!
Great value product, only complaint is it's easy to disconnect the plug (even when padded between two layers of Alien Tape) so you may want to direct solder these on both ends. The size is absolutely tiny, like it'd fit on the tip of my pinky. If I needed a ELRS receiver in my hand it would be this one. Probably be great for a tiny whoop setup IMO, though I'm not sure about the weight. Nice that it comes with 2 dipole antennas. One short one longer. QQ... The colors in the wiring diagram do not match the plug you get so make sure you wire it up correctly. The wires are yellow white red and black, only the red and black correspond to the diagram in the manual. I inadvertently thought the yellow would match the diagram also, but it's deceiving and does not. The yellow is green in the diagram and the white is yellow in the diagram as seen in photos. I guess it's too much to ask to have matching colors to the diagram. After all, FPV gear makes everything harder.

HGLRC ELRS 2.4GHz ExpressLRS Receiver
I recently installed the HGLRC ELRS 2.4GHz ExpressLRS receiver on my FPV quad, and overall it performs very well for the price and size. Pros: 📶 Low latency and responsive control — The ExpressLRS protocol delivers fast updates and a smooth control feel, which is great for racing or high-speed flying. 🧰 Very compact and lightweight — Its tiny footprint makes it ideal for micro builds or any setup with tight space constraints. 🔌 Flexible installation options — You can solder directly or use connectors, depending on how you mount it in your frame. 📦 Good value for money — Offers key features (like up to 500 Hz refresh rate and solid signal) without breaking the bank. Cons: ⚠️ Requires firmware and binding setup — You’ll need to update firmware and bind it properly, which might be tricky for beginners if you’re new to ExpressLRS. ⚠️ Mixed user reports on reliability — Some users mention occasional binding issues or connection fails if wiring or setup isn’t perfect. 📡 Antenna handling matters — Proper antenna placement is important to avoid range issues, especially in compact builds. Overall: The HGLRC ELRS 2.4GHz receiver is a solid choice for FPV hobbyists and racers looking for a compact, responsive ELRS link. It’s excellent if you understand setup basics and are comfortable with firmware updates and binding. Offers good performance and features at a competitive price point.

Absolute trash.
I never had issues with ELRS until this RX. I’d recommend going with the EP1 instead. I had complete rx loss and failsafed in parking lot. I don’t know why I thought I’d trust an HGLRC rx as I’ve never trusted any of their other products. I bought another one of these just for the antenna with no intent on using the Rx, but the ended up needing one. I flashed firmware back to 2.5.2 then to the latest I tried turning model match on and off, reset the module match number, made sure mode match is off in the radio as all my RP1s don’t use it. I even tried swapping rx and tx wired just in case it was mislabeled. No matter what, no inputs to the rx. It binds to my controller but does nothing. It’s cheap because you’re only buying antennas, the Rx doesn’t work.
