Is there anyway to play this with 2 players?

I tried it with 2 and it's not good. It's amazing with 4-5 players. The main feature of the game is making deals (talking) and getting bonuses from your alligence with another player. This dominates the game, the game is built around this. You can't do this with 2 players, there is nothing to go against.
