More plastic feeling than I thought it wouldn’t be. We use another brand usually-leakmaster it’s not plastic like this and does not make a lot of sound. They wash well. We have a downs son who is 17 he wears them every night we have to wash every day. They hold up extremely well. Have 3 pair that are 2-3 yrs old and still in great condition. We just tried something new price wise.
