The carbon filter is simple and seems to be doing its job. I appreciate that it is unscented, and that with other EKO products there are very easy-to-access places to slot the carbon filter into! The only issue is that the carbon filters needed to be cut (they were too large for the filter slot of our 80L trash can), but that's not a huge deal.

Purchased the filter as recommended for the EKO trash can. These filters do not work as described. Also they do not and fit as it is too thick. The filter holder does not stay closed even after attempting to cut down to a smaller size. These should not be sold as a recommended product if it does not fit the EKO trash cans.

These filters don't add a scent. They simply neutralise bin smells. I much prefer this approach over typical scented products with overpowering artificial fragrances. Long lasting and comes with plenty of refills.

Honestly.... I bought their garbage csn which seems fine, slightly over priced for a tin can but the odor filtration was a selling point for me . As a health coach with clients in and out of my home , I need to smell to match the cleanliness and level of sanitization standards I have . Some smells give off a bad impression while having no real impact beyond it and I just wanted to neautralize that concern. I would confidently say , these do nothing , and are fairly pricey for useless fabric squares. I had 2 within a 4 feet radius and I noticed zero improvement even with the new tin can close and sealed . Unfortunate but I would buy something you know works , a dispenser of some sort.

These charcoal filter refills do exactly what they’re meant to. They fit neatly into the bin lid and have noticeably reduced food smells, especially with the compost bin. Easy to swap over and they seem to last a good amount of time before needing replacement. Much better than constantly dealing with lingering odours. Very effective and good value for a pack of four. Would happily buy again.

Tried it, with their EKO can, honestly made no difference. Kind of regret buying this to be honest. It does add some kind of strange chemical like smell, but yeah its not worth it I don't think.
