Urolithin Precursor Pro+ Capsules 1000mg - Mitochondrial Support

I have been a loyal customer of Neurogan since I first found them and started taking there CBD gummies for sleep about 5 or 6 years ago. I found there science back information on their website very informative and their customer service should be the standard for others to follow. When I found out they were making supplements, I was very interested. I started taking the Spermidine supplement four months ago and have really noticed a natural energy boost. So I wanted to try the Urolithin A, since it also works at the cellular level, and and 70 years young, I want to stay healthy and active. I have been taking it now for 2 weeks and I feel great. I am going non-stop all day and I don’t feel tired but when I get in bed at night I sleep very good. These two products work at different levels so together they are a powerhouse. I suggest you read about there functions on the website. I have both supplements on subscribe and save with Amazon so I think it is a good value for your health and well-being.

This product used to be exclusively Urolithin A, nothing else. Then, Neurogen got sued by Time-Line for selling their patented product and instantly lost. So, they had to pull Urolithin A from all of their products. This by itself isn't great; they knew about the patent and knew about this eventuality. What makes this beyond insidious to the point of a scam is that their solution was to do the following: 1. Keep the bottle all but identical to the original Urolithin A product they previously sold. 2. Keep "Urolithin" in massive letters on the front, but without the A. This tells me they found a loophole because "technically" it says Urolithin, not Urolithin A. In any case, either way, the product is called "Urolithin Pro" and contains ZERO Urolithin A 3. To add insult to injury, they added a bunch of BS about being a "next gen" supplement, trying to spin it like they made these changes as an upgrade to tackle the situation from numerous angles. That is entirely false; all they did was add a Urolithin A precursor, the bacteria that breaks down that precursor into actual Urolithin A, and a bunch of mitochondrial support. But it's still advertised as a Urolithin supplement, and, well, that's a HUGE stretch. There have been zero studies into the actual efficacy of taking a UA precursor with associated bacteria; claiming it is comparable to taking UA itself is comically disingenuous. 4. Now is where things get REALLY bad. They didn't create a new listing, they just quietly swapped out the old product for the new, totally and completely different product. People on Subscribe and Save (or just looking to reorder) would have to look closely to see the difference; I was incredibly lucky that I noticed in time, which brings me to my next point... 5. For many people, PQQ and CoQ10 are mitochondrial "stimulants"; they promote cellular activity. In short, for many people, myself included, they cause insomnia. UA does not. 6. In addition, this supplement contains Spermidine. Spermidine is a POTENT AMPK activator meant to boost autophagy independent of fasting. HOWEVER, I take UA with my post-workout meal. The goal is to spike insulin and subsequently spike mTOR as much as possible to promote anabolism (muscle growth). Spermidine literally shuts that suystem down; mTOR and AMPK are like a seesasw and cannot both be active at the same time (with caveats, but that's the gist). 7. The ONLY silver lining is that I was instantly refunded by Amazon with no struggle. But that was Amazon, not Neurogen. In short, they pulled a Bait & Switch, intentionally tried to trick people into repurchasing their product by keeping it as the same listing but completely changing the ingredients, wrote a bunch of BS on their product to try to make it seem like the change was an improvement, and then included ingredients that have very specific use cases and interactions and are in no way directly tied to UA (except for the bacteria strain). Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if they get sued, again, this time by customers for this nonsense. Now, a quick message to Neurogen: I get it, you're trying to mitigate damages, but YOU caused those damages. You KNEW you were playing with fire, given the MitoPure patent. You KNEW this was coming. And your solution was about as underhanded as you can get. Even if Neurogen manages to get UA back in stock for 1/10 the price of Time-Line (MitoPure), I will never, EVER purchase from this company again. Oh, and the irony? It's really not a bad product or a bad idea. If they had changed the bottle to make it clear it was a totally different and new product and then posted it as a new listing on Amazon (and charged a reasonable price for it instead of the actual price of Urolithin A, which is another issue I should have mentioned), then it would have been fine. I would have even considered using it if they hadn't added in the mitochondria stuff to try to make it seem "better" to people who don't know any better. In short, Neurogen, you're gonna regret this one, I can tell you that much.

i used another highly rated brand for 2 months and noticed nearly nothing. it was liposomal, which has no human research verifying effectiveness. so i decided to go for the oral version, which has lots of research, and this was a highly rated one. so far, within 2 days of using, i notice the effects that are supposed to come with urolithin A: less inflammation pain and increased energy. i've been told that even tho the other brand was not showing effectiveness, it was at least operating as a loading phase, which would explain why this oral version showed effect so quick. i will continue to take and update.

It is very expensive and the price has gone up, however, I think it is working. Since switching to this brand, my bp and glucose levels have gone down. This is only my opinion. I have no proof that this is why my levels have improved, but I will continue to take it. It is vegan friendly and has no side effects.

I was a little skeptical about whether this would actually make any difference. I did a lot of research before buying it. But the supplement (not just this brand) had positive reviews and, more importantly, no negative reviews. It appeared to be a legit supplement that may not help but would not hurt. The research did say that not all people need this product so it may not help everyone. It took a bit over 3 months of use before I started to be aware of an improvement in my memory. I am old and it has taken longer and longer (over the past years) to remember a name or an event, etc. Also just remembering to do something around the house was a challenge. Now I can recall past events (or names) MUCH more quickly (a minute or two versus an hour or more) and I am noticeably better at remembering to do things around the house. I was not expecting this to work, so I am very pleased with the results. I also started taking Taurine at the same time as this Urolithin A so it is possible that the Taurine (either alone or in combination with this item) has been responsible for the improvements.

Please know this is not Urolithin A. It is not the Mitopure Urolithin A or anything similar. No, this is what Mitopure was fighting to find the fix to. They spent much time, researching abd formulating something to help the world. This company, unfortunately, is deceiving you. For I purchased from them once before. And that product, had Urolithin A in it. Then, less than 4 months later, I went to the same exact product location, still in my purchased section of Amazon, and ordered it again. But no, it is not the same product. No, this is a completely different product, yet, a product that they attempted, with all their might, to keep identical looking. Even the "1000 mg," on the front, that was Urolithin A and is not other substances. This is deceitful. For they attempted, to keep the label identical. The colors identical. The new product being sold in place of the old, on the same header of the site. Not even a new product location, for all those who go back to the same link they use. So, if you desire to work with a company, that is not here to help you, but instead, lie and manipulate you, then go ahead, buy their product. I would rather buy from people that desire to be transparent, honest, own their mistakes, and rise above to become more. And those are the people I would back. The honest ones, letting you know, they screwed up, but are trying their damndest to be better. That's a story worth listening. This story, is wolves in sheep's clothing. Buyer beware. I purchased Mitopure today. No idea what you should do. But I do not support liars and thieves.

I've been using this product for over a year and, based on my experience, I believe their marketing claims are justified. **UPDATE** Since they removed the Urolithin A from this product, I have switched to Timeline Mitopure.
