Tastes different. Surge of energy.
Royal Jelly just might be nature's perfect food source. Once you take a spoonful, you will also be convinced. I have also tried freeze dried versions and they are nowhere near as potent as this non-freeze dried version. The taste, which I had a huge concern, is different. It is slightly sweet with bitter rich-flavor after taste. To me, the taste wasn't bad at all. I think we are just too used to the taste of the simple sugar (fructose), which doesn't have any after taste. Royal Jelly is far more complex and far more nutritious than any simple sugar, and that is apparent in its rich complex flavor. I think Royal Jelly is somewhat of an acquired taste, but it isn't un-tasty by any means and I have no trouble eating it right out of the jar. So what are the affects? A surge of energy is common. But the quality of the energy you feel is different from those of energy drinks or coffee. You feel your body being revitalized at a very deep level, as if your cells have this extra boost of energy they didn't have before, and it wasn't forcibly stimulated. I have also noticed I am more mentally alert, can concentrate better, and sleep far better. I was so impressed, I ordered the larger jar from the same company which is far more of a bargain. Pros 1)Boosts energy unlike anything I have tried (beats down Red-Bull and Coffee). The quality of the boost is also much better. 2)Makes you mentally alert, concentrate better, and sleep far better. 3)Far superior to any freeze-dried Royal Jelly pills. Cons 1)Taste is different and not everyone will enjoy it. But it doesn't taste bad by any means. 2)You cannot take it with any hot water (or hot temperature food) and you must refrigerate it. 3)Very expensive (but it is worthwhile). The larger jar is a much better bargain.

This is the real deal.
I have 15 years of beekeeping in my past and I can confirm that this is the real thing, just like I used to hand harvest from my own hives. I can't see a mechanical means of harvesting this type of product either, since there are usually only a few queen cells in a typical comb which means that these cells would have to be suctioned one at a time instead of uncapping & spinning a comb for honey collection. Hence the price seems appropriate for the labor involved. This is the full strength royal jelly. There is no mixing of honey or other products to dilute the RJ as seen in every other RJ product that I have seen marketed. I have to comment on the cold packs they include in the shipping package. These are clearly meant to reduce the time that the RJ is at ambient temperature instead of guaranteeing that the RJ is delivered cold. Don't be concerned if the RJ is warm or even hot when it arrives. The bees may air condition their hives (look it up if you don't believe me), but it's certainly not as cool as a fridge in the hive, so RJ will be fine for a while at ambient temperatures.

Great for health, not so tasty lol
I actual love this mixed in my super honey mix. But by itself it's kind of sour, I couldn't possibly eat it solo lol but it is a GREAT product. The mix I put it in I use before working out and before bed. Keeps my organs and body health, gives me good training energy and keeps me from being sick ever. Horses on good days now say they are as healthy as me 💪🔥

Tastes terrible...so it must be good for you!
Very impressed with product and seller. I'm on second ordered and happy thusfar. I've used RJ mixed in honey before and it didn't seem to have the kick this stuff does. I've noticed a definite change in energy level as well as overall feelings of health. I take it in the morning and usually chase it with silk or something else to offset bitterness. I'm a naturally nocturnal creature forced to wake up early and do blue collar work at construction sites. I've also noticed several jobsites illnesses pass me by...I'm not gonna say this stuff is that magical yet, though. Highly recommended if you're looking for healthy energy and supplementation.

Spoiled Upon Arrival | Returns Not Accepted
The seller will likely attempt to discredit this. Scroll to the bottom. - - - - - Royal jelly can be left unrefrigerated for a day, two at most, at room temperature before it starts to degrade. In the heat (90+ degrees Fahrenheit), it degrades in just a few hours. They put 3 minuscule ice packs inside the box, but they were definitely warmer than room temperature. I opened the package less than 15 minutes after it was delivered. The smaller the ice pack, the faster it melts. This isn’t quantum physics. I can’t speak for everyone, but I wouldn’t have hesitated to pay an extra dollar or two to have my royal jelly shipped with 1 large ice pack, so that it would still be edible by the time I received it. - - - - - Bees do not actively store royal jelly in the way they store honey or pollen. Instead, royal jelly is produced by nurse bees on demand and used immediately to feed the larvae or the queen. They do not keep or store it for future use, as it degrades quickly and is meant to be consumed fresh. Sellers won’t tell you this, but peer-reviewed articles, and other reputable educational sources, will.
