Electric Quilt Quilt Design Wizard

This program is really wonderful. It helps to visualise what your quilt might look like. Best of all it gives you the measurements and rotary cutting guides, or templates if you don't happen to use the rotary cutting method. It also gives the yardages for each fabric. You cannot input your own fabrics, but it doesn't matter as the range of colours and fabrics is sufficient to use as an approximation. You can replicate the colour of each segment throughout the quilt, or not, as you choose. I have used it already to help with the design of a quilt I am working on, and it is brilliant. I am not the greatest mathematician, so calculating the sizes of pieces has hitherto been a matter of cutting and pinning bits of paper. Now I can use this to find out exactly what I need much more easily.The downside is that you will be limited to the block designs provided, but as these are very extensive it shouldn't be a problem.For the price this is a no-brainer. A really great program.

Really good value for money. As a newcomer to quilt making this will be a value able aid. Arrived in good time.

I love this program - It is easy to use and understand and I am having a lot of fun using it.

It is great for the first time quilter. The designs are not as adaptable as I would like but for the price it is very good.

This is a good basic starter DVD. Not used properly yet I just had a look around and it seems pretty good.

Great quilt designer...a bit too basic, however, I knew this going in. Will probably upgrade soon, but this is a good start.

Very good helps me cut the time down quite a lot when designing my quilts
