I bought these to light up my farmstand building at night and on the porch. They are nice and bright and give it nice ambience in the evenings. I’ve had them up all summer and they are still doing great. They work at sunset, there is not a timer that you can set. You can see them here strung across the porch.

These are nice and not intrusive. Will not light up the balcony enough to read by, these are for ambience, tho they do have two "strength" levels. I couldn't get it to work initially but then found you can plug in and charge it fully, which seemed to do the trick. Not it goes on every evening at dusk and off around 5-6 hours later (good battery life setting). We don't use the additional settings but nice to have the remote handy. So far no issues and has worked through rain storms (durable). Not a complaint but I may get another as the lights just go around once on my railing.

I had fun stringing these up in our dogwood tree with my young grandson helping! They're easy to hang and the bulbs were durable enough to withstand a few drops. The solar panel charger works perfectly and was a quick setup. At first I thought the remote control would never be used, but it's turned out to be very handy. It's been up for two months and all of the lights are still glowing and there hasn't been a drop in the length of time they light up at night. Very good value! I plan to buy a few more strings next Spring.

Updating my review They do work, it either has to be really dark outside or you’ll have adjust the solar until they come on. They last all night long and are actually really pretty! Perfect for any season! Not really sure what’s going on with them but I’ve had them up for a day and a half. Even charged them via usb but they will not turn on….

I purchased these lights for our campsite in Sept 2023. Only used the lights one month that season. Noticed right away that only one of the settings worked. Decided to keep anyway b/c we liked the setting that worked. Used them for camping season #2 (May thru Oct 2024). A couple of the light bulbs stopped working during this period. Fast forward to this camping season. We are 2 mo into this camping season and the string of lights no longer work. Not one light will go on. So, we got 9 months of use and the lights are all dead. So if you are ok with spending $29.98 (what I paid) for 9 mo of use then buy. They are nice lights and lit our campsite nicely until they stopped working. Now on the hunt for new lights that will last longer.
