Excellent Pad for Nighttime!
Wonderful pad! I have very sensitive skin and this is perfect for me. Very soft, comfortable and absorbent. I have used for a couple of years; mostly at night but have used during the day when I have to drive a long way. I will continue to buy. My only negative comment is PLEASE consider pricing. I think if you continue to increas3 the price, I will reluctantly have to fund an alternate product!

Works well.
Very good product needs to be able to hold more urine for heavier incontinence. And the sides need to be able to not leak out. It has side leaks. But the middle is good.

Jumbo Pads with their own terminal system
God, I really didn't read the description because once these came in, my first sentence was, "Are these for Godzilla?" I didn't even open the packaging when I said that, and once I did, I just sat there in silence, wondering why I bought pads that had a launch pad on them. Honestly, they're comfortable and very absorbent. I needed bigger/longer pads for my heavier flow days, and these literally are protection at its finest. I'm afraid these are perfect. Though, I do have the no-wing curse, where if I wear them for a somewhat long period of time, one side scrunches up, and blood tries to escape, but these are worn at home, so no worries. No leakage, but sides do sometimes shift after some time.

Adhesive has changed
The adhesive doesn't hold the pad in place..especially the front. I think it has changed from the original but I like the pads in general.

Additional Incontinent Peace Of Mind You Can Trust!đ
These pads have been a lifesaver for me! I don't have problems with leakage at night, but due to hospital employees misuse of hospital equipment, I was left with damaged bladder muscles. Consequently, every time I stand up, every ounce in my bladder comes rushing down. I took a chance, and turned the wide end to the front, and haven't left a single "pool" on the floor since. For someone who's always been so incredibly independent, when this first happened to me, I was devastated. But, thanks to these pads , it's been easier to live with. This pad's effectiveness is absolutely terrific, and the moisture retention is fantastic! One night I slept longer than usual, and my bladder was cramping, because it was so full. By the time I was finished voiding, the pad weighed almost 12 ounces. The brief wasn't wet underneath! That's moisture retention! I am not merely spouting words; I have tried other pads. The Tena Sensitive Care Pads far surpass them by a mile. There's no smell, that I have noticed. I think theyâre a great value, in fact, I keep a subscription to make certain I don't run out of them! If you need some extra peace of mind, I promise, this is one purchase you can count on.

Donât buy Tena if you have mild to severe incontinence problem. Look for ano5er brand.
Just donât buy, you wonât be happy if you have mild to moderate and certainly severe urinary incontinence issues. If you use period pads for your light, small drops of urine, maybe you will be fine. I didnât need overnight. Was using the 4 âdropâ ones, but they kept shrinking the padding, and changing the thickness. They no longer have the same thickness throughout. Even the middle small core in a 8 drop they call it isnât near as thick as the original 4/5 drop pads. Itâs crazy. And they call it making them better for us, the customer. Below is my letter going to management . At the very bottom of this is a paragraph talking about the ProKin pads which are just nuts..no adhesive at all and are huge things like 2â long pads. They should be called liners but TENA got my money and couldnât return them economically. Opened, tried to use some. Just couldnât work it out. ====== Itâs bad enough you guys have rebranded the long established, well loved urine incontinence pads into the so called Sensitive Care line including those in dark blue/purple bags, which is absolutely horrible. And I plan to report to the FTC the fact that you sell a pad as a 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 overnight but the entire pad is no longer the same thickness throughout and actually the main middle section isnât as thick as the same thickness as before. An 8 isnât as good as the old 5 is/was. The old pads were great until you started messing with them the last couple of years ⌠itâs corporate greed at its finest! Reduce material usage, raise prices and try to make us think you are doing something for our good. Itâs BS. The old ones meaning several years ago were great, they built your company. They were soft enough, fit well, no issues with odor, there were no inks or dyes to irritate, and had decent adhesive. Now you have added printing back in â sure hope itâs natural food safe type printing. But the wider you make them you need more adhesive to hold them in place. That was my only complaint but it used to be okay, just could have used 3 strips of adhesive side to side, or maybe one wide strip from side to side. Especially if you were busy, biked, rode horses, jogged, danced, did a lot of walking, or tossed and turned a lot at night. But now the adhesive across the board on all products fails most of the time, itâs not strong enough and doesnât cover the product well enough. I keep searching through your line to find one that currently works as they did 3 +/- years ago and with no luck. Itâs the same with the gathering around the edges, and now the material is so thin, not whatâs in the middle, so it leaks out the sides onto your undies. We used Tena products for my great grandmother, then my grandmother through the 2006, and Great Uncle 2013-2015. I started with them for very light incontinence around 2019 and all was great until about 3 years ago and itâs been a complete downhill disaster. And now Iâm pissed, you are collecting money from us, higher and higher prices, for products that donât even match your description. Starting around 3 years ago, I noticed a change even in the line you had for decades where the pad was no longer the same thickness top to bottom, and the adhesive began to get worse.because of the top and bottom ends not being the same thickness, had to step up in levels ie âdropsâ. I was using a 3 drop day/night, 4 drop for really long days or travel. Then when you started with uneven thickness distribution, had to go to 4 drop day/night, 5 for long days/travel. Then up to 5 drop day/night and 6-6.5 for long days travel. I checked with urologist and said I was the same when she measured me for incontinence just 3 years prior, she suggested a different pad thickness- so I told her I had. She said she was hearing the same from other women with guess what TENA. So I decided to look for a 7 drop or an 8 drop overnight in the next assuming it would be the same thickness throughout. Boy was I wrong... First couldnât find a 7, so ended up trying the new Sensitive Care in the dark blue/purple package. And these are horrendous with even less material. Thinner in the mid section, and even thinner over a +/- 3â section at the back end, +/- 2â at the front end. There is a slightly thicker 1-1.5â section before the middle thicker area in the front. And you are using this very thin, maybe a 3 drop thickness around the sides. The sides are not gathered as they once were, and worse the urine just âweepsâ out on to the underwear. Thatâs assuming it has completely come loose because the adhesive wonât hold to cotton which is all I use. No part of this Sensitive Care 8 drop overnight pad is even close to what an old 4 or 5 drop was 3 +/- years ago. I had a broad range of product âdropsâ for various occasions depending on my days ie what I was doing, where I was going, how active etc.. In addition, I had background experience of relatives that I personally took care of up until their passing away. None of this new Sensitive Care 5-1 line, and in particular this 8 drop overnight I just purchased (56 in a bag) is close to what an old â5 dropâ pad use to be when the thickness was spread across the entire pad. A 6 used to be so very thick, it could be a little too thick if busy but I knew if traveling, or having a long day without knowing exactly where the next bathroom might be, I was safe. Itâs hard to believe now what you call an overnight wonât even hold for 3-5 hours. And itâs not me. The past 2 years has been terrible with less padding being used in each pad. All of the pads definitely in the last couple of years have become more clumpy and shifty along with the thinner padding throughout, and worse, the adhesive has declined even more. Your advertising and promotion of these products are false. On these Sensative Care ones, you talk about more coverage and more protection â thatâs a flat deception to make people think they are getting something better. Oh, it might be wider, longer, but what good is that if the padding is so thin ie more of a pad 3-4 âdropsâ down? More width and length doesnât help with absorption if the padding is too thin on the edges, top and bottom, and if the crazy thing wonât stay in place. I have had 2 of these Sensitive Care ones literally drop out of my undies and down my pants leg. Do you know how embarrassing that is, I have a good mind to sue for that and may encourage others to do the same. I realize a class action suit wonât help us individually, but it will take a chunk out of your slush fund and might get whoever thought up these ridiculous ideas of cutting back, and the promotion of them, fired. When I have a supposed overnight of one type ie the Pro Skin type that there is no adhesive at all all, to the newer Sensitive Care lineââ there is something majorly wrong. You may think and promote yourself as a âleading global hygiene and health company. With over 60 years of experience TENA is the No 1 adult incontinence brand globally*.â And up until the last 3+/- years, I would have agreed with you, but not anymore! And thatâs after decades of use for myself, recommending to loved ones, and use with those I personally cared for in their last 5-6 years of life. But today, I find you are the epitome of corporate greedâ use less and less materials, charge higher prices, and then try to convince us itâs all for our own good, better for our skin. Well thatâs BS. How can it be better for our skin when I have been wetter with your pads in recent 3+/- years and definitely wetter with this new line. And it seems to be a similar thought for many of other users. And how can you call a pad or even a brief an âovernightâ when itâs soaked through the newly changed thinner material in 3-4 hours? Or with pads that wonât stay in place throughout the night? By the way, where is the so called micro-beading or polymer beading for absorption, I cut one open, found nothing close to what you find in top baby diapers. Just putting a tiny bit in it doesnât mean itâs enough to vaguely do the job even in lighter drop pads. This change ie ârebrandingâ has nothing to do with anything except your bottom line⌠itâs definitely not for our bottoms. Wet skin with the subsequent odor, embarrassment of pads leaking and dropping down your pantâs leg and skin sores is no joke and can contribute to bed sores and general skin breakdown causing the healthcare industry and patients billions of dollars. If you want to keep contributing to this issue, go right ahead. I wonât play the game with my own skin health. Get your act together or people will begin to complain so much, more than they already are to the point even new people wonât want to try them. Itâs pretty bad for a company when someone does a search Yes, it might take a while, but by that time, you will be on your way to bankruptcy. I will be speaking with individuals who are well trained in starting a social media campaign to showcase the corruptive and fraudulent changes made to what was once a well known, well established and beloved company just because they want to rake in more money for executives and stock holders. I even thought someone had purchased TENA over the past years, and was quite shocked that wasnât the case. But it also saddened me that this meant this were the actions of the same 60 year old company I had once trusted. I will now start my search for a new product and will encourage others to do the same. This is what your information states and none of it is true. When they wonât hold the liquid in an overnight pad more than a couple hours for someone who doesnât have a major issue, when they leak repeatedly onto underwear, clothing, bedding, especially when they wonât hold in place side to side or end to end. I have to step up but I had some of the old pads (packed into not normally used travel cases) and they worked fine. I would have never stayed with TENA, all these years, if they behaved as they currently do. What good is incontinence pads or underwear if they donât keep you dry with your skin and dignity protected? 20% DRIER SURFACE: compared to our Ultimate Pads. Our Dry-Fast Core⢠offers intimate skin dryness and security. All BS! UP TO 100% IRRITATION & LEAK FREE All BS! NIGHT TIME USE: Locks in liquid while you sleep. For worry free nights! All BS! 20% MORE COVERAGE*: To provide additional security and leak protection compared to our TENA Ultimate pads. All BS! The new pads utilize instaDRY⢠technology and Duolock cores, which aim to absorb liquid quickly and distribute it more evenly using fewer materials. This is intended to make the pads less bulky and more discreet. All BS! This part in my letter pertained to the ProSkin pads⌠which donât even have a way to stay in your undies and are huge! These are lousy, there is no adhesive to secure to your underwear. So what good are they? Ended up with an entire package of these worthless things. Why on earth would you have something called a âpadâ and not have good strong adhesive to secure to the underwear? These should be called liners, i. e., for diapers and then not be all cut out like a pad would be. This is a poor product design as an overnight pad.

Not for My Needs
I like Tena. I normally like their products, but this one was a great disappointment. It's definitely nice and soft. The pad's length is appropriate for an overnight product. There are, however, three problems I've noticed: (1) As with other reviewers having problems with the glue strip, every day I have to battle the glue strips when I try to remove the pad from my overnight undies. The glue strips adhere to the panties and I have to scrape them off, piece by piece. They don't pull off easily. (2) Really irksome: The pad crumbles and leaves pieces of the lining against my skin. (3) The pad is thinner than an overnight pad should be. Clearly, it gets thinner during the night due to the crumbling. That means the pad leaks. This pad should be redesigned.
