My 4-year-old is absolutely obsessed with this thing. The realistic shell-loading action was the coolest part for him. You load the little foam darts into the shells, load the shells into the toy, and work it just like a miniature movie prop. For a kid who loves pretend hunting, target practice, and anything remotely outdoorsy, this was basically the greatest gift ever. Now for the downside... Those tiny foam pellets have apparently developed sentience and a desire to live all over my house. Within 24 hours, they had migrated under couches, behind furniture, into corners I didn't know existed, and possibly into another dimension. I spent more time hunting the darts than my son spent shooting them. Eventually, I reached my limit and vacuumed up about 80% of the ammunition. Problem solved. The funny part? My son couldn't have cared less. Even without the darts, he's still running around loading shells, working the action, and pretending to blast imaginary dinosaurs, monsters, and whatever else is threatening the living room that day. So if you're buying this for a child who enjoys imaginative play, it's a huge hit. Just be prepared to either spend your evenings searching for tiny foam pellets or accept that your vacuum cleaner will eventually become the primary predator in the dart population.

This is a fun little toy to mess around with! Make sure you keep track of the shell casings though haha! Simple to put together! It’s plastic but sturdy and it seems safe for most ages (just don’t shoot at the eyes of course). Plus it’s a good size for a child. Definitely worth my money in my opinion.

My 8 year old loved this toy for Christmas. It was easy for him to use. It is kind of cheaply made, but he didn't seem to notice or care. It was the right size for his age and it shoots surprisingly well. I think my husband might have played with it when my son went to bed.

Fun to use

The package was delivered and was obviously opened before we received it. The information in the package showed a pistol grip as well as a regular stock, but there was no pistol grip. Nonetheless, we were satisfied with the quality of the product that we received.

Its truly a good kids toy but eject too hard snap! Dangle it to hard? Snap!! Play to roughly? Snap! It breaks too easy i like it but too much breaking and water bottle falling on it? Snap! And it doesn't work now after having a metal water bottle and be swang around.

Shoots like 4 miles away. It is the funnest thing for me to use to play.

Shot very well and did not get jammed. It broke in half after a while though.
