This little liquid filled compass works quickly and accurately. It’s durable and easy to use.

Not Metal, All Plastic
It's... a compass. And it works well. Not much else to say. Good if you're teaching yourself or a kid about the basics. If you want something for survival, get a more expensive metal one that will last you.

Quality & Value
This is a very nice compass for the price! If you are looking for a quality Lensatic compass at a good price, this is a good choice. Finds and holds magnetic north with no problems.

Good, basic compas - maybe a bit cheap
I got this for my son on Christmas. I first was disappointed because it looks and feels a little cheap. the plastic is thick, and the lens mechanism looks like poor injection molding typical of China. But it seems to find North well, and the fluid dampens the dial pretty well. Since my 12 year old scout still loses stuff, this is an adequate product for the time being. As we do more hiking, and he matures, I'll probably spring for a better (and more expensive) product.

Fairly well-built and functional, accurate, but surprisingly slow
This is built well enough to carry in a pocket, even though the model that I bought is made out of plastic. It has a metal latch and glass (or glass-like) screen, though. It folds up easily and has a metal clamp, but don't hope for a case. The screen is easy to read, and I like the pop-up magnifying glass with a notch at the top center. The lines also help, so I can read the numbers and know the direction very well. The only problem is that it is very slow to respond for reading the heading (direction). If you make a turn or rotate the compass, for example, it will take a minute or two to get that settled. With time and patience, it is a good budget option. If you can spend a few more dollars for something better, that is worth a thought.

No es la mejor brújula del mundo, pero tiene buena relación precio-calidad. Si se coloca a nivel se puede obtener lectura con unos 5º de margen de error, nada importante si lo que se quiere es tener una idea general. No debe usarse para trabajos de precisión.
