Can you eat raw seeds? Like right out of the box?

I drop about 10 seeds into a cup and pour hot water over them. After about 5 mins of infusion, I sip it like a cup of tea. I have not tried chewing the seeds directly.

How do you eat these seeds?

In Indian cooking, its one of the essential spices used in Tarka (the mix of spices in most curry bases). Its also used for medicinal purposes, and has many qualities including controlling blood sugar. Most people will soak it. You can google and find a number of different ways to use it if that is your objective.

Does this help curb appetite ?

Yes, I do think it helps curb appetite. Myself and my husband have had similar results.

Have now encountered many seeds that did not change when soaked overnight, making them dangerous to eat as unexpected bits feel like stones between fragile teeth, when eating spoonfuls of seeds all together, it was impossible to know which ones did not absorb moisture. Very afraid to crack a tooth.
