I use this tool on the daily and I love how well it works. It is easy to use and clean. because the lid is movable, I can adjust how much of the scoring tool I can use.

Bought this for when I am building larger pieces. This tool scores the clay easily and better than the standard scratching tools I use on smaller pieces. The tips are very sharp. I like the design with the wider spaced tines. I am also able to do multiple rows in a crisis cross design that is very clean.

I love using this when making work ! It works great and is pretty sharp. It can get a little hard to use if it’s closed before you need it and you have clay all over your hands: I’ve stuck my fingers quite a few times doing this.

Im an art student and when I saw this I thought it was the coolest thing every I was so excited for it. I think the tool is high quality and it works very well. The scoring sticks are very sharp and its helped all my ceramics projects stick together and i've had no problems with using this. However it can get stuck sometimes but that is to be expected with anything clay related. It just worries me because I don't want to use it and accidentally stab myself or get cut. But as long as you're being careful I think this is a great tool. Its nice and small and so it dosen't take up a ton of space and its also surprisingly thin. It hasn't broke on me yet and so thats always good. Overall, good product, just be careful to not hurt yourself with it. Its easy to use and its comfortable to hold as well, something thats really important to me because I work with my hands every day. Its a good deal.

This tool is a quality tool for scoring clay in ceramics. I had some cheaper tools that kept breaking and the tines would fall off. I finally decided to order this tool and I am not disappointed. It makes scoring parts of the clay to connect with slip so much easier. I have not been disappointed with a Xiem tool purchase so far. I highly recommend. Sometimes you just need one good tool instead of several cheaply made tools.

Such a simple tool for pottery but one of my faves. It saves me time and hassle when doing attachments such as handles, just makes it simpler and easier and faster overall. I wasn't convinced about how useful this would be until I had it, it seemed unecessary. But it really does just make my workflow better, even if it's only a small difference it impacts me in a big way.

Compact, sharp and a good value. Love the retractable cover which it prevents me from stabbing myself as I root around in my toolbox. Makes scoring my hand build clay pieces a breeze. Recommend.
