BANDAI STAR WARS Vehicle Model 006 Millennium Falcon Plastic Model Kit

Looks great, very cute and insanely detailed for such a small model. Bought this as a gift for my partner and it has awakened something in them.. sadly not the Force but the desire to buy and assemble many more small plastic models. Delivery was quick and problem free with some funky Japanese newspaper thrown in to pad the parcel which added to the unboxing experience. If you buy this as a gift, just chuck the unopened parcel at them, works great.

I wish it had been larger, but other than that I cannot fault this model. It is incredibly detailed, perfectly molded with no flash or rough bits needing sanding; even the sprues attach to the model in places covered by other parts. Absolutely fantastic; easy to put together without needing any glue; it's going to look great once I airbrush it and apply some washes. FAR better than the Revel Star Destroyer model which is about the same size and price, but has awful joins, tons of filling and filing needed and lacks the level of detail in the Bandai Falcon.

First off I'd just like to say that I am in no way at all anywhere near being an expert model maker or painter. Luckily this kit doesn't require you to be. The detail in this kit (bearing in mind it's only literally 4 inches long) is literally breath taking. Before purchase I was fearful of the scale of this model being slightly off. By that I mean that going from past experience, Millennium Falcon kits have a tendency to be too deep. Not so with this Bandai kit and I've included photos of pretty much every angle to show that this model seems dead on in scale. Another factor I was concerned about was the stickers. Fortunately even though some of them were absolutely tiny and needed a magnifying glass, cocktail stick and scalpel combo to apply, they all went on perfectly well and stayed on....and that is including the cockpit window sticker which I dreaded doing before hand because of the odd shape. Regarding painting, for me as an absolute beginner I thought I'd just give it a try with a simple black wash (Vallejo black wash to be precise) and I was SUPER impressed at how it turned out. It may not be perfect or 100% screen accurate but the classic dirty/used Star Wars look went perfectly hand in hand with the beaten up hunk of junk Millennium Falcon we all know so well. Overall I can't recommend this little kit enough and on the strength of this purchase I'm now pursuing all the other kits in the range. 10 stars from me if I could :-D

Tiny, but beautifully detailed model. The only negative is the included stickers are a little bit of a headache to use. I ended up painting mine, but this only added to my enjoyment of the model.

Fiddle to put stickers on though I did enjoy it. Took me couple of times as so small and needed a break. But once finished my son enjoys playing with it.

An amazing little model so much detail this will take up a lot of covid boredom and have a very cool end result

Lo esperaba a partir del 6 de febrero, pero lo he recibido con 10 días de antelación, lo que es maravilloso teniendo en cuenta que viene desde la otra punta del mundo, sólo ha tardado 7 días en llegar a casa desde la fecha de envío. Además el embalaje y la presentación son impecables y cuidados. El modelo es una pasada a pesar de su tamaño, tiene los detalles cuidados al máximo y es muy sencillo de montar, además no requiere pegamento. Con un toque de Tamiya Panel Line gris (no incluido) y los stickers que vienen en el paquete, queda perfecto, incluye hasta una peana expositora. Muy satisfecho con la compra y todo el proceso.

Loved it! Tiny, yet incredibly detailed. And it holds together really well, didn't even need glue. Painted it with Vallejo primer, paints and wash.

Being a huge star wars fan I was so exited when the MF landed on my door. Not only was it fun to assemble but it is even better to look at. Extremely satisfied
