I enjoying having help in the dating department, you get into a routine, things get boring, and soon date night isn't even a thing anymore. I really liked the layout, presentation, and different out of the box activities this date box provided. It did not look either of the 4 section of cards had a theme, they all mixed and match with good ideas, you can definitely look through them all and see if there is a date fit for your weather type, budget, mood, etc. There are cards that help you prep and surprise your date so you get conversations going before going on a date and then the date turns into surprise. Really fun ideas, some of the game cards were confusing to me, I must not have ever played or seen games played in such a way, I gave them to my husband to see if he understood them and he did not so there were cards that were were just uninterested in ( it happens) but everything else really got us thinking and excited to try something new. This box is a good size that it fits right into our gaming shelf, however you could just pull the cards out and just pick one randomly or organize them into the different categories, but over all really like everything about this collection. I would highly recommend!

Going on 22 years of marriage and in our 50s now, have a kid off to college the other will be going in the fall, so we'll be empty nesters. Got this Date night idea box to just give my wife and I some different ideas for us to do and change things up a bit. We've been streaming shows and that gets a little monotonous after a while, so having this Date Ideas is giving up a few new options to spend time together. We like that the cards come in 4 different categories: "Up and About" where the date ideas are for going out to do different things, try new things, etc. "We're planning ahead" - like little weekend trips, glamping, meet friends out for dinner, etc. "Just can't move" - these are some of our faves, as we can just stay in bed on a weekend morning and do some of the silly and interesting card choices. "Something low key" name says it all. The cards are nice a heavy stock, with a slick feel to them, much like playing cards or other game cards. Some of the cards have QR codes that you scan and then hop online to do some funny Q&A type games (the "Just can't move" cards). Fun game to bring back a little something else to our marriage :)

As our youngest children are now in High School my wife and I have found ourselves in another "transition period. It has been a long while since we have had entire evenings to ourselves, as our children are off with their friends. IT seems we had forgotten how to date properly. I got this for my wife for our anniversary, to help with ideas when we had the evening to ourselves. I mean I'm all for watching Netflix, but sometimes it is nice to get out of the house or do something different. This has provided some great ideas and has shown itself to be very useful. We are enjoying it greatly. The cards themselves have good ideas with quite a bit of detail, and it is nice they are broken into categories. They are colorful and well designed. They are thick paper, which is plastic coated, not flimsy at all, they should wear well and stand the test of time. Very happy with this idea box.

Terrible date ideas. It's getting sent back

I like that this game was pretty straightforward that it comes with four different decks of cards and basically you just choose the deck of card that you’re in the mood for. And then from those deck of cards it’ll give you different suggestions of things that you can do. Because it’s straightforward it becomes a rather universal and uncomplicated game that anybody and everybody can do. At the same time I think I had different expectations initially when I ordered it so I wasn’t expecting it to just be the four deck of cards. I should’ve read the product description clearly. It’s a cute set and I think that you could get really good use out of it, as long as you both are in the mood to have fun! Definitely recommend it.

Some of them are simple ideas, others are more elaborate. I think overall, these are great for weekends when you know you want to go on a date or do something fun but have no idea what. My husband and I struggle with that a lot, we never know what to do. These have helped a lot by deciding for us. Some of the activities also seem to be designed to bring you closer together as a couple, which is nice. One particular idea: drawing things that describe your relationship, made us realize that we are on the same page about a lot of things. It was truly an enjoyable, bonding experience.

This box has a lot of unnecessary packaging considering it is effectively just 68 thin cards of about coaster size. The box itself is approximately 8.5 inches square 22 cm by 1.6 inches deep (4cm). It contains no real instructions just 4 sets of cards in different categories that are less than 4 inches square (1less than 10cm). When these are all stacked together (all 68) it is about 1 inch deep (2.5cm). This would have made much more sense to be supplied in a small box and I cannot help but think (as there is nothing else to this) that this is somehow to make the game seem “more”. The cards themselves have 4 categories from Just Can’t Move, Something Low Key, Up and About to We’re planning ahead. The ideas themselves have had some thought and especially for couples looking for new ideas or something to try that they haven’t thought of. A number of the cards have QR codes for additional information that doesn’t fit on a card, for example questions on a given subject and that is a nice touch. It does show a degree of thought. It is also quite sweet. The design shows a degree of care and attention. I do like it. Is is very different to many date type games. Each is quite different and the scale of what is being attempted is governed by the pack it is in. If couples are running out of ideas, there is quite a lot of possible inspiration in this game. If not there are elements and cards that almost all couples will find interesting. The most important thing is not to judge this by the first card you see. Have to mark the product down for the completely unnecessary over sizing, packaging. Just put in a small box like most card based games please. Price wise this is a fair price for what you get.

There's a lot of packaging here. The box is 21cm x 21cm x 4cm so it's not small, I guess it's because the intention is for this to be a gift for your loved one but I'd have preferred it if they'd cut the packaging right down to house the 68 cards you get here. The cards are a nice textured, glossy cardboard and are just under 10cm x 10cm square. They have one of four categories on the back; Just Can't Move, Up And About, Something Low-Key, and We're Planning Ahead to give you a bit of a steer on what you feel like doing. Once you've selected your category it's time to pick a card, either at random or flick through until you find something that tickles your fancy. Some of the suggestions are a bit lame, such as dim the lights and watch a film with popcorn or a date night brainstorming about how you want to transform or decorate a room is not really my idea of romance. Generally, I'm disappointed in this, there are far better date night products on the market to help you revive your relationship with your loved one. Some of the “dates” are really just ideas of activities you could do together and don’t really constitute a date in my book.
