Deluxe Gold Travel Toothbrush

Had read a few negative reviews of this product so wasn't feeling confident about it. However, wanted something small as needed to cut back on things to pack for a safari. I was pleasantly surprised. Toothbrush was good and had a timer and cleaned teeth very efficiently. The battery lasted well over a fortnight and it will be excellent for holidays.

A nice product that works well - well designed and ideal for travel. It's like a mini version of my Philips Sonic Wave brush that I use every day Sonic Chic is simplicity itself. It charges from a USB lead that can connect to any computer, etc. You get one mini brush head and a spare and it all comes in a 'pen like' enclosure (think board marker size) with a slip on lid for hygiene. Cleans well and the head is just the right size. Well recommended.

This is a mediocre toothbrush. The head wasn't very big, so you would often feel uncomfortable with the hard plastic hitting on your gums. It would be good as a reserve toothbrush, but probably wouldn't encourage it for everyday use. On a positive side, the vibration had two different speeds, and has a double speed setting. Overall, it is okay.

sleek, stylish, 28,000 rotations per minute and it recharges using a standard Samsung/Android recharger - fantastic for travel but also a good every day toothbrush. The 2 minute feature has made me spend longer brushing my teeth now, very happy with it.

This is absolutely perfect for any traveller. Small lightweight and with a nifty mini usb charger cable means that you dont have to sacrifice those extra flipflops for your favourite toothbrush. Id normally go manual if i was travelling but now this is always coming with me even on business trips. I wouldnt purchase this soley for home use though, its not as powerful as the braun models and the brush head feels smaller than normal.

Bought two of these for occasional holiday use, and both have stopped working after a short time. When they did work, the brushing action was more of a pulse than anything and you end up using them as you would a traditional brush. Also the bristles are too soft to be effective. Would not recommend them.

Most serious sonic toothbrushes cost £40 to £100. This feels like more of a gimmick than a price breakthrough and there are others on the market not much more expensive which may be better. The brush head is a third of the size of my usual sonic toothbrush and really not big enough to clean my teeth. It might be OK for a small child. Not good enough as an overnight brush either, even though it is designed to fit easily in your handbag. You would do better with old fashioned manual brushing.
