Best Wireless Headset I’ve Ever Used—Finally One That Gets Everything Right
These are hands down the best wireless headphones I’ve ever used, and I’m not saying that lightly. I’ve gone through a ton of different headsets over the years, trying to find something that actually checks every box, and these are the first ones that genuinely do. The sound quality is on another level. Everything is clear, balanced, and actually immersive without being muddy or over-tuned. You can hear details you normally miss, whether you’re gaming, watching something, or just listening to music. Comfort is just as impressive. I can wear these for hours and not even think about them. No pressure points, no fatigue, just a really solid fit that feels natural. The wireless performance is flawless. No random cutouts, no weird connection issues, just consistent, reliable audio every time. Battery life has also been great and easily keeps up with long sessions. The base station is one of those things you don’t realize you need until you have it. It just makes everything seamless switching between devices, charging, and keeping everything clean on your setup. Honestly, there isn’t a weak point here. Sound, comfort, build quality, features, everything is dialed in. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. These are worth it.

Almost Perfect
As good as they say, ordered these because many mention the quality between microphone and speakers were actually balanced pretty well, Normally its one or the other, good mic or good sound, very rarely both, in fact as far as I know there is only one other at this price range to have both good sound and mic quality. That said, these are a bit pricey, so you'll be spending more then the average no matter what, but the sound quality is great and my mic sounds as good or better I've been told then my desk mic, these keep up with most entry level studio headphones, maybe even some mid level studio grade headphones, The connection is pretty good too, I've had no issues, all and all these are great and worth the money, That all said, there are cons, for me, just one, I have to adjust the first at least once a week, and adjusting requires you to take off the headset, and if your eyes are not perfect you'll have to look closely at the barely visible lines/numbers to get each side to match, really needs a way to lock them to the size you want, these don't feel like they are locked in, in anyway, but friction keeping them where they are, these also did come pretty tight on my head but has sense stretched to fit comfortably.

HDMI switch functionality made useless to save a buck.
I have owned them for a few days and I am genuinely sad about this, it seemed so perfect, the sound is great, I need a switch for my HDMI inputs, but who in their right mind decides to make a product into a multi HDMI switch and just decides not to put one in the PC slot. I wish I wasn't so upset about this, but this is my ideal headphone setup if someone didn't try to save $3 on production by removing a jack on a $300-$350 headset. If this headset was $100 I would just install it in the xbox jacks and use it as a 2 way switch, but no way am I tolerating this on a $300 setup. "ok but why not just plug in your monitor to your PC separately? that seems like what they want you to do" well because of two things. first, what if you do not have multiple HDMI in on your monitor, as many high end gaming monitors do. Second, if you do have multiple HDMI jacks using multiple of them at a time has issues. Your computer behaves as if it is connected to HDMI making what would have been on the monitor be off the side of the screen. You may need to shut down your computer depending on the tolerance of your monitor for "stealing" the selected input. YOU CANNOT LISTEN TO YOUR COMPUTER WHILE PLAYING VIDEO GAMES, this one would have been an issue either way, but the way that it works now it just ARBITRARILY shuts off your computers audio in spite of it not even being fully connected. Be better Logitech, I used to love you as a company and suggest you to my friends and clients, now I can no longer suggest your products to anybody because between this and the power play 2(see the end for the explanation) and all the other products you have been making worse to save infinitesimal amounts of money, I just do not trust you any more! To address the power play situation, they released a mousepad that wirelessly charges your mouse, then took it off production and made another one that is WORSE IN EVERY WAY FOR THE SAME MSRP, check the prices, at time of writing powerplay 2 is $120, powerplay 1 is above $300 in spite of originally being $120 because nobody who knows what they are talking about wants the 2 and scalpers have a monopoly. Again, I am not talking as a hater, I just feel burned and sad because a company I used to like is falling fast. To address amazon's points, lightspeed has a decent connection range but does not go through walls, it is pretty plug and play, if you can run g hub it will make your life easy, I never got to use the mic, I charged it first and it dropped one dot (goes on a 4 dot power system) in about an hour, so 4 hour battery life? not sure.

Great sound quality, very comfortable, zero connectivity issues.
I had originally gone with the Audeze Maxwell 2 after my Astro A40 failed after years of use, and while the Maxwell 2 had amazing build quality and 70+ hours of battery life, I found the sound quality disappointing and the headset uncomfortable. I expected better out of the box performance and comfortability from an audiophile-focused brand like Audeze. The Astro A50X is so much lighter and more comfortable to wear for long periods, as well as just sounding better right out of the box. I will say the build quality could be better, the pad at the top is attached with some fairly flimsy looking plastic snap-points, but at least it's lightweight. I just feel like if I were to twist it a tad too much it would break, so I always handle it with both hands. The charging stand is a nice plus as well, as it lets me see how much charge I have left at a glance without opening the Logitech app, and acts as a wireless dongle so I don't have to use finicky Bluetooth. Assuming it holds up over the next few years, I'd definitely recommend this headset.

Amazing - like REALLY amazing headset!
I dont know if i ever want a different headset. I LOVE the fact that i can be connected to my pc, in discord, playing a game, AND take a phone call if needed all through the one headset. And it can switch from Xbox, PS5, PC, plus bluetooth. Sound quality is top notch with real depth to the bass, mid tones and highs are also well balanced. Be aware if paired with Wicked Cushions it doesnt sit EXACTLY perfect on the base like with the originals but with a little adjustment itll sit and charge.

High quality, but expensive and some limited functionality
Very high quality, but is it worth $400? I'm keeping mine, but I'd say probably not. it can switch between two video channels and 3 audio channels, but the quality has to be reduced for high resolution outputs like my pc and ps5 or the image quality comes out grainy and with flashes of static. Had to turn my ps5 down to 1080i or 720p. It still looks fine since my tv is pretty old anyway, but it seems like a pretty ridiculous caveat for such an expensive product. It was also a nightmare to set up. For some reason it just straight up stopped working when I updated the firmware and I had to restart my computer to get it to work again. That said, the sound quality is amazing, the mic seems good, though I haven't played games with my friends yet to hear what they have to say and the media switching is very convenient

The headset i hoped for.
It fits nicely, love the spund quality to them so far. Love that it can switch between consoles and pc(Bluetooth too). But the headset has a some what short range for the Bluetooth i think because it has something to do with the dock station for the headset. Overall i like it to play my games on consoles while also having it connected to the phone with music. You can hear the console sounds from the headset while simultaneously listening to music or something from the phone. The battery doesnt ever really bother me much due to having long cables for type c if i need it. The microphone on this is also pretty good(nice and smooth when flipping it). Even while typing this i forget i have it on as its pretty light and comfy(could be the beanie too)

Great headset, Linux viable
I was hesitant to buy these despite owning the Gen3 since 2016 due to the bluetooth. After a decade the Gen3 battery finally died and needs a constant power supply. >Bluetooth works flawlessly, long range >Audio is great, rivals $900 660s + Element 3 amp >Mic compared to Shure SM7dB is pretty good >Works with Linux, just needs some adjusting >Never used the software, don't have GHUB In the ear pad picture you'll see the size difference between the Astro A50 open-back versus the aftermarket closed-back. The closed-back is wider and doesn't flatten while providing noise isolation, reducing audio leaking out or in providing better sound. The open-back Astros will flatten on your ear and will not fit properly. So you will definitely have to purchase a new pair and I recommend it for better audio anyway. The old Gen3 had firmer open-back pads but also offered full faux leather closed-back straight from Astro, both were fantastic, the new ones suck. Linux users: Use Pulse Audio to set A50 X profile to "Pro Audio" in Configuration. Then in Easy Effects, Output at the top, Effects on the bottom, add an Equalizer then you can use LSP Parametric Equalizer in the "Show Native Window" from the right side options, if you have it. This will allow you to fine tune the audio to absolute precise perfection without any GHUB software.
